Lonesome pup

My dad has the papers on it. Its outa Annie up. 6-7 months sounds about right. Its really my dads pup but we took it out the other night. Getting ready to head out tonight for a spell. If I can bush one early I plan on coming home and switching hounds. He will get to go again. Its a pound hunt tonite. Gotta get one to weigh in than I'll play with other dogs.

Zone 1 BBOA HUNT

John have you found out anythig about haveing a Ill. BBOA STATE ZONE 1 HUNT .
WE NEED TO GET ONE ON THE BOOKS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE FOR 2015.
I Am the zone chairman for this next year and have another club in Kansas that wants it if yoy guys cant.
So far I have two for Mo. One ithe 19 and 20 of April the weekend of the 13th is the Reunion at Hawsville and the annual hog roast and membership meetin at Marshall in June.
Trying to set up Crete Neb. again this spring also.Altoona Ks. Has the Ks State Bboa Zone 1 hunt in Oct.
This will give you an idea of what months are allready spoken for.
I think you mentioned Oney Ill. As a possible location and if you can get it set up forMarch or early may and or laye June it would be great. We try to stay away from the months of July and August because the heat really pulls down attendance tjose months anothe oppition would be September.
Please let me know if they will hold a two day hunt .
I need to grt with the club at Girard Ks and let them have it if you guys cant do it again this year.
Thanks for your help and trying to get the Zone hunts to a wider population in the Zone.

Bad night for the blue dogs

Only treed one coon on the pound hunt. Did manage to come in second place on weight so far for the year. Plan to start hunting more and more as it gets dark earlier throughout the year. Plan to hunt the pup a couple nights this week. You said that you like to see the pup get hunted to make a coon dog and he will if he can cut the mustard lol. So far he has still got my attention. I enjoy competetion hunting as well. If the pup turns out to be one that I feel can win I guarantee he will be taken to town. I went to a couple bigger hunts last year and really enjoyed them. I hunted with the female that won queen of bluetick days on Saturday night this past year. I didnt win but had a great hunt, Mr. Stufflebeam has a nice little gyp, she deservingly won our cast but I feel I gave her all the competition she wanted. I feel that I made some good friends and look forward to hunting with them again as soon as the opportunity comes along. I am planning on hunting in the Nationals in PKC this year and definitely gonna try to hit Bluetick days again.

Took little Lonesome again last night. He ran a track some. May have had strike on it, think he was running dog track trying to keep up but he was raising a fit lol. He got left behind in a thicket of multi floral rose and vines. Wasnt long he trailed me up. Older dogs went on and treed the coon. Soon as we started down the holler where we could hear the other dogs real good he was off. Once again when the pup did arrive he was very interested in treeing, but would lose interest after awhile. I made a drag and let the little fella run it. He sounds like a machine gun on a drag coon. I believe he would tree all night on it.The country I hunt is pretty rough and steep. He is doing a fine job for his age and wood time.

AWESOME NEWS !!!! thanks for the update Dave I had 2 out last night had several track barks but we cant knockem out yet so a couple weeks will change a lot of pups when our season opens

it is here!!! 2014 season has arrived long night ahead and several people wanting to go!! makes me happy to have so many young hunters going tonight I know 5 for sure that have started hunting in the last 3 years and it makes it a lot more fun to set back and watch them succeed with their pups,thankyou to all that are hunting buzz and lonesome pups

we didn't hit it to hard treed 4 and went to the house,had to get a light on annies little boomer pups I was a little more into them, I absolutely love raising puppies,its awesome to watch them grow

im rea;;y pleased with ole buzz and his offspring. lots of hide hunter puppies out there and getting lots of phone texts with his pups buzz treed 4 times last night found 3 of the 4 so far in 5 nights I seen one tree we couldn't find it. in other words he is suiting me fine

hunted buzz last night heavy frost and long track ended up with a big ole boar coon,he is really looking good
