10-4 on the much cooler. We better enjoy it while it lasts--weather says its comin' back Thursday. Don't know 'bout you guy's but I'll take what I can get after last week. well when we take Muke to the hills we have a ole wheat lite head with a twenty foot cord that plugs in to cigar lighter in the truck thats all he needs. Hell I did get him a quater down a fire trail one nite( pretty flat) ha ha ha ha Who said that

Rex, When do the hickory nuts usually fall. I haven't gotten any for a long time and when I think about it squirrels have already beat me to them. I do get walnuts but they are right in front yard so can't miss them when they fall. The boys and I use to play walnut golf and wacked them across creek and fed the squirrels all winter. One of my moms old fashioned hickory nut cakes sure would be good. Mike when big timber sees that he will be drooling for ribeye. He sacked out about 5p.m. has to get up at 2a.m. to go to Indiana

mine here in the yard start dropping some by mid sept..but mine aren't very good, the shells are so thick theres hardly any room for the meat inside them..

TD have a nice day. Morning everyone. After the storm went through it stayed 75 degrees. Relief for awhile. Looks like there was a 1.25 in the rain gauge.

well its was cool enough I dumped the big dog out last night..treed 2 right off the bat ,then a big oak, didn't see nothing there..cut him again got another up, that I seen...came home at 11:10....got all my work done ,won't be doing anymore this week or maybe next either...loving woman is going in for surgery at 6:30 wed. morning..prepping her tomorrow..I guess I'll be nurse maid for a few days or weeks depending on how she gets along...

thanks Mike and Jeff....she's having shoulder surgery .had the right one done 5 years ago ,she got along pretty good that time..hope she does the same this time around..best thing was it cured it..

Rex, I will say a prayer for your loving woman. Good to know you have some help to take care of her. TD didn't get home until 7:30 tonight won't be hearing from him tonight done passed out. Had an english shephard he would sick him on them. His problem was he was very territorial didn't let anything in the yard. Snakes, bees, coons, etc. if they got in his territory they didn't make it out.
