May have the chance to hunt with a littermate to spike tonight. Cant find my charger for my camera so I doubt I can get pics. Dave you going to be in Bluffton, if so see you then. That tri colored female will be there and hunting in the invitational, so will spike. Hope to have good luck there again this year.

Yes it is. She is the nicest dog out of Grit that I have hunted with. The only problem is he has the same hunt schedule as Chris. Once a month or so. LOL

Yea that's not to good to get them to their best. Let us know if he ever goes to breeding her. I think Fred is gonna breed Grace one more time. The one male he kept turned out nice and a guy has a white and red female he has messed with a little but not a whole lot.

Hes thinking bout breeding to Bruiser. You say Freds male is nice? Would he like for me to hunt him a couple months for him? Maybe put him in a hunt or two.

Yea his male is pretty nice. He wont let anyone hunt him or put him in hunts. He is just a hide hunter and wants him to hunt close and easy because he hunts a lot of small timber under 10 acres. He may be interested in a pup out of that female if he doesn't breed Grace again. I will mention it to him.

Going to a qualifier tonight. Supposed to be 25 degrees and snow. I guess we dont get spring this year. LOL

Got beat on the last drop. Dogs got split bout half mile apart, walked to the 2 dogs down the road. When we got there they had a coon, that put me down by 100, with my tree to walk to. Got in there as time expired, and had to have the coon for the win. Tree was SLICK!!!! Man was I pissed. LOL. All and all a good hunt. Got another chance next month.

Got out last night in the moon light. Made 6 drops and seen 5 coon and a den. Was home by 11:30.

Balllz Deep

took my ballz out last night 8 miles roading,he was a little tierd lolended up by a swamp in he went ,yes my ballz got wet,20 mins. in first tree checked,he made 2 more checks on trees in thiis swamp never opening,40 minutes in opens then locates ,dam near had to swim to tree,he had the meat .huge coon dave.

Where ya been? Went out again last night, made 6 trees, scored on 5. One tree had 3 cubs in the bottom, was done by 10:30. Third night this week, going back out tonight. Not going to have no more slicks at the end of the hunt to lose it for me, and not get qualified. LOL.

training seasons are closed up here now ,just started again to take him out.last nite was the first in over a month.going out to nite try and locate another pokcet of coons.i am hopeful to get a good run out of him tonight.it can be hit and miss around here getting a good track.i just have to be careful where we hunt.the spot we are going to had early spring coon last year ,but a small female bobcat has taken up reidence in this area.ballz treed her once and put her in the den twice last winter.if we are lucky she will be at the other end of her home range.I wish we had better habitat nfor the coons,(more farms in the area).we will just have to take it as it comesgood luck with the invitational.my gram just passed at the age of 98,i had to pay for her funeral,it put the kibosh on the semen i wanted to get this spring but i think they will have it for awile
