Nice Hound Work

I'll tell you what, those hounds really made me feel good again. Matt's Snowman dog is all there. Nice hound even if he belongs to Matt!HAA

I am extremely excited about Woody! Big goodlooking sono***un! He is going to be the total package, with his build, color, mouth, and don't turn him loose if you don't want to go hunting because he is going in there to tree a coon!!!

Last night was a lot of fun guys, thanks for having me down. Was sure good to see you back in the timber Roger. I appreciate yalls comments on snowman, he may not be much to look at, but he is sure fun to turn loose. That woody dog should have been Bullet III, imo at least...... couldn't ask for a better looking, or better built hound. I'll see ya'll soon.....

Can't wait to get Woody down here and in the woods! I also just picked up a young pup out of Woody and a heavy smokey river bred gyp, thanks to Mr. Jeff Williams, that I will be putting in the woods soon! Hopefully assess what Woody is throwing. If anyone has a pup out of Woody, please let Lee and me know how they are doing.

Here is another picture of GRCH GRNITECH FROG BAYOU WOODROW(BULLET II X SINGLE TREE JOSIE). He is now close to Austin, TX where Donnie Petrash will be hunting him. we look forward in being in halves with such a hound and are greatful to Richard Edinger for making the cross happen and greatful to Kevin Gilliam for making him a Dual Grand before the age of two. Now we hope he will have a shot at the big town.

All I have right now is a female off Corey Mailes Petes Bob and Utchman Two Toes.
She is a Ch on the bench with two first place hunt wins.
I don't have any more females directly off my stock of dogs. Sabrina is a Bobby Hayes so I'm not sure if he will try to breed the ole gyp or not. I know I don't want to loose what I have been hunting for years and enjoying.
I got this female to breed back into my dogs and maybe find a outside stud for a outcross to bring also back into Sounder and Magic. Yes Woodrow and Bullet do look a lot alike. How old is Woodrow?

We took a family hunt tonight with Matt Davis' hound "Snowman". Matt has been kind enough to allow me to hunt Snowman since I have been without a younger hound for a while. He may not be the best looking hound in the woods, but he can be as good as any when it comes to treeing coon and he is a real pleasure to hunt.

Below is a couple of pictures of the hunt.

From left to right is my daughter Leah, Myself, Wife Meagan, Son Evan and Son Aaron and of course Snowman.

And then below you have the after math.lol! This was about 10 p.m. and they had been out for awhile. Anyone needing to put a kid to sleep take them on a hunt.lol



Of course the dates are always wrong on this camera. Everytime I turn it off and back on it resets to this date. Just thought I would share what I viewed as a enjoyable and special hunt.

Hell, he wouldn't let me go! Told me no!! Because there wouldn't have been enough room in that back seat with my fat butt and three kids all sprawled out at the same time!!!

Matt, where's the ugly at? That second picture sure is a good picture of Snowman.

Folks, I don't know how long he will be at my house but if he is here you might want to get you some. He is definately a coondog!

His littermate sister Cricket will be put in her 1st nitch cast in a couple of weeks. I like both of these dogs they hunt hard, and handle like a dream.
