Matt I'm glad Powder is working out! I feel bad I have not hunted Boomer much. Our season opens this weekend. Hows little Annie doing for Dennis? I received a call from a fella in Alabama reguarding Willie Oneils Diamond female. I'm nott sure what I can do to help there. I bet her papers are still my pup papers!

I had the call and forward your number since you was the breeder,what i would do is ask for a picture and make sure it matches the diamond female and you can copy a duplicate registration form off the front page. have the new owner send the money for the duplicate registration.Ukc will help you out.its nice to keep the papers straight.I don`t know any of the details about what went on with his hounds.
I think Dennis gave her to a older man to hyde hunt she will make a hound she just didn`t move on out like the other two females.
Dennis says she`ll make a coon hound.just not a bear hound.
I took pictures of the pups today and i`m having a time moving my pictures .what used to take me 5 min.is now 2 hours.I sis a kodak update and it went down here from their.
I`m getting ready to go run the hounds and if I have time i`ll try to get them on here in the morning.

I`ve been hunting Powder and she is really cranking and what a tree job and loud.if she continues at this pace I`ll be hunting her in the hunts next spring.she is nice.
I would say the Diamond female is doing good or they wouldn`t want to get her papers straight.I want to Thank you for breeding to Stinger.I`m telling you I really like Powder and she is going to make something special.I would have to say Dan V. would be sick right now if he hunted with her.

Dennis here she is.she has a big mouth on her and she`ll have a home here if you need. I`ve taken a liking to her.she will cross good on all of my hounds.Its good to hear Skipper and Molly are making good hounds.

I would bet Dan would like Powder!
I'm going to find out from ukc what females are registered. All I can do to help.

hi matt dave was right, she sure is a nice pup. thanks for the pictures. i can't take all the credit for her though, she is a greatgrand daughter to your hank. she has ellis blue jim on both sides. i believe she would cross good with just about anything. this weekend is suppose to be nice. hope to get some more coon hunting in later this week. i'll call you this weekend. thanks again dennis

Dennis, have fun treeing coon with Little Blue.the bad thing he may trash on you when bear hunting.good luck and have fun.

My super fly pups are eating real good now,they love seeing me come out, I think they forgot about momma.you should see the Tree daddy pups they are big and bold pups all are nice.Lou`s pups are starting to get some size on them they sure will change in a few weeks.turned a little colder overnight.I gotta get some sleep.

hunt

hello matt we had a good hunt last night with blue, copper and molly. the coon turned out to be black though. molly sure is turning out to be an outstanding hound. she should be a year old sometime this month, i'll have to check her papers for the exact date. we are planning to go again tonight. hope it's a ringtail this time. skipper is starting to show a little i hope she is bred. i have 5 or 6 spoken for i won't book any more till i see how many there are. good hunting dennis

Dennis, Glad to here molly is doing good, I could tell from a pup she was going to be a good one! She should make a nice cat hound too, she was sure fired up about them as a pup. I will be coming over your way next week if you need anything hauled back this direction, just let me know I'd be glad to help out.

Matt, legend and tree daddy are sure throwing some good looking pups, i'll have to try one of them before to long! I couldn't be happier with my stinger hounds, the male out of jim's fly is a real nice hound, I'm going to performance him so i can get a pup off him next year. Angel out of stinger and lou is the real deal, what a little tree dog she is! I've kept her straight on coon so far, but will cat hunt her this winter. Starting to freeze hard up here, the coon hunting is slowing down a bit, its time to put some venison in the freezer anyways! Take care, Mike

Stinger crosses are working.

I`m pleased with Stinger`s pups he has 71 and more coming.he has exceptional young hounds out of every cross so far.He has a few ready for the hunts and I`m getting good reports on others coming on.I want to Thank everybody who has bred to Stinger and I`m sure this time next year more people will be catching on he is throwing the right kind and ones that`s not hard to look at either.
Mike Fairchild ,you should think about Diamond and your male off of Stinger and Fly that would be a good cross.(just a thought ) nice talking to you tonight.good luck deer hunting.

My friend Sam the owner of Fannie called last night and said he lost her ,he had knocked out two coon to her and Toby earlier,he was getting sick so I went and found them for him.They were only .5 miles from where he turned them lose.she is loaded with pups.any body in need of a pup with this blood line contact me.I think this cross will work good with Tree Daddy.they should be ready to go around Orangeburg time.
I went on and treed a double and four singles and two dens.Powder split twice she will be all right .
My pups all are looking good the Legend pups are eating real good and will be ready to go this weekend.

Fellas,This heavy Smokey River blood on Littlejohns Little Arkie dogs will make some outstanding coon dogs.Folks ya'll need to look at this cross.
If you missed out on Gus x Star cross pups from me,these pups from Tree Daddy X Fannie will be as good if not better than my pups.

Tree Daddy has reproduced some outstanding hounds this cross should be no different.I showed Dan my pup off of TREE DADDY and WENDY a coon tonight and he went nuts over it. and this was the first coon i have showed him.I went with Legend tonight and he sure looked good.I know that Tree Daddy is putting the right kind in the woods. Glynn, I think this will be a great cross with Fannie.

I took Stinger and Powder tonight and I think they did outstanding work.Powder is really coming on and what a good tree mouth she has.she looks to be coming into heat again. she won`t be bred until I get her finished out .one thing about it when she trees you can hear her.
pup update one of the nicest litter of pups I have ever raised so far is out of Tree Daddy and Jim`s Fly.these are super nice pups.I`m having a hard time picking out the one I want to raise.

Thanks to you guys getting pups off of me.Legend is a super nice hound off of Tree Daddy.this is the line I started with in 1989.so I`m pretty proud of the direction its been going.

Matt glad powder is doing good! I know annie has a nice tree mouth and still does @ 10 yrs old. I'm sure stinger is loud too so they have it in the gene pool!

Yea Tom I`m a little partial but I know hounds like Legend don`t come around very often.he tends to show off for me quite often.
Dennis,I`ll get the papers sent in she is pulling hair from coon already.
Bryan,Stinger had a better mouth when he was younger,most of his young ones have better mouths than he.Powder has a outstanding mouth.I`m sure Annie helped.well gotta get in the woods.

Good too hear from you.I`m gald big Jim is working good for you.this time last year I was hunting him steady and he looked good.
I had a bear hunter down this weekend from wis.we had a good hunt went with Legend two drops friday night and he really like him.turned Stinger loose he went into the next section and treed.he is wanting a female off of Stinger bad but i wouldn`t turn one loose.
Turned Tree Daddy loose he ran 1 to a culvert and left on out their and treed a big one in the back of the woods.
last night he got to see Super Fly and Tree Daddy go, Treed a double and two single`s the first section we hunted.back to the truck in a short time.then dropped her and jbelle super fly treed another one and Dale said she was a little stick of dynamite.I pulled her off her pups last week.Super Fly looked good.
Ruby and Powder are still in heat.
my pups are doing great and growing.

Matt Boomer managed to catch a coon in the corn lastnite. he had his ear tore some and that sure added fuel to the fire! The female Duane is hunting was in on it. Id rather see him tree up but this is good too.
Time my friend is all this big boy needs!

Powder still doing a good job? Does she use her mouth ok on track?
