Beau, please tell me you raised that black and brindle from a pup. Please. His name is Merle . , Yell at him "sit Merle". He is only 3 and somebody stole him . Please tell me for a fact you raised this pup. Please don't tell me you bought him off of some Cracker blowing through town or somebody else did. Etc. That is My dog Mearle , He is 1/2 Leopard and !/2 Kemmer. When he grabs a coon, does he make noise like a pecan cracker when he bites through his skull? Can you say, Let's load up and follow him a quarter of a mile back to the truck? And he wants to strike but you keep saying LOAD? If that is not my stolen dog I wish you the best with him.

Weekend was nice. We went to pigeon forge and gatlinburg to relax. Shopped til he dropped then I kept on without him

Weather was awesome! Would love to find a cabin to rent in oct.

thats old Rambler, Brent came up for the weekend to hunt and pick up his new custom dog box. We had a blast, Brent has taken Rambler home to hunt and start his new hobby of competion hunting. llyle, I can tell you for 100% sure that isnt your dog, Brent got him as a pup and he came with Plott paper, Moose is now a show champion as of this weekend. Any of you guys thinking of wanting a custom made dog box should contact Michael Montgomery at 540-261-1344, he made Brents and man did he do a good job and stands behind his work.

I have never messed with black dogs. Just getting into the coonhound thing. Only really messed with long legged beagles and beagle bluetick crosses on deer. Haha but i have heard that some black and tans will run the mess out of a deer. I wonder how a black beagle cross or a plott beagle cross would turn out for a deer dog. I may have to try some new blood in the deer pack.

I might have to see how many of the seven breeds i can fit into the box at one time.

Afternoon, hot, hot, dry and did I say hot. Aint hunted none this summer, just too hot and dry. Friend stopped by the store a little while ago and told me he lost a good young one to a gator last week.

Momma, starting to contract a little. But you know how that goes, still could be a couple of days yet. Been watching her though real close. She's sitting in the corner instead of laying down. She's trying to lick but keeps turning circles since she's so big. LOL, poor dog. Got the rest of the school shopping done today. That was a zoo. Glad that's over. That's about it for me, jus keeping an eye on mama.

LOL... said in my Yankee accent...

LONG RAINY day... WICKED WICKED rainy! Got a few inches and we do need it... but some people probably have wet basements for sure.... I got a bunch of my pix moved over to photobucket today... over 1GB but sadly... I still have a bazillion on the external thing...LOL.. Even worse... I did NOT get the chips from the cams today... cause it was just TOO wet out... and I will have lots of pix to sort thru tomorrow.... It is the only thing I think i get done around here...lol...
Bob's pix of his fishing are still on the camera and I haven't gotten ahold of it yet. Will do that eventually and post any nice pix. Nothing went after the fish carcasses last night... except a few nibbles. Perhaps tonight? I'll see in tomorrows pix!
