Well put Joe.. It is funny how you remeber the hound and dont remember the handler. For years I used to get stopped all the time and asked if I was hunting the Max dog... He is going to be 13 this christmas and could beat anything that ever came his way . If ole JC Ellis would have came off another $5000 he would not live here and be sadly missed. I named the little Black pup
John Luke Robertson Duck Boy....
Si is the man !!!!! Happy happy happy!!!!! Herman you make it back in town yet?? Hope you having a relaxing trip!!!
My buddy looking for a female pup around 3-7 months old. Any around out of dollar around that age?

Gentlemen,
I have held off to write anything, because there are so many self promoters, and people saying this and that. However everything being said here about these pups is true. I bought a male pup from the Babe x dollar, in hopes that he would have many of the same traits of a 2nd generation fred female that I'm hunting right now.
He is now 10 weeks old, he already knows, sit, lead, heel, kennel, no and quiet. He is not afraid of anything, and is louder then some grown dogs, that I have hunted with. If you let him off the lead, he is gone. If you like a dog that has just the right amount of drive, loud, looks and brains to match it. I feel like these dollar pups have what it takes. I will post some pics, when I can get some decent ones. Been trying but the bugger won't sit still long enough to get one.
Thanks, to Joe and Herman, for breeding what appears to be what the walker breed needs more of. I am anxiously awaiting for this pup to reach hunting age.
Fisher13.. It took me 32 yrs to find what I have been looking for and it comes from ole Bark.. I dont think you will ever find a more accurate producing line of hound. I know there are 5 or 6 male dogs that have a lot of Skuna River Barks background in them and they produce really nice hounds too. I went out on a big fat limb and bought me up 3 of them Babe / Dollar pups and this little male dog is gonna be my new stud . I'm sure that this line will be here for many years to come and i'm sure I'm just crazy enought to double it up again.. Cant wait to see how these little pups grow up and take their place as great ones. Dollar is making smart. Loud...hound looking pups... I'm so happy with mine.
Thanks to all the men and women behind such a wonderful line of hounds.. My hat goes off to "Wimp"
quote:fisher dollar minds better than most kids never needs a leash he waits for my command in the woods but when I tell him go you will pull him from under a coon just about every time and he passes brains on to his pups and I kept babe a week or two and she also possessed these same traits very smart line of dogs here there will be something special from this cross joe done his homework thouurghly on this cross. He is smart enough to know what will work in his kennels and his hunting territory.
