Larry Jenny is coming along very nicely. She continues to get better as time comes along. She's looking sleek, healthy, strong, and in shape.

You and Jenny are a tough team to mess with when you are both tuned up brother.

Well we're going to try it again tonight since it shouldn't be gale force winds tonight. lol

Well Mr.Larry I regret to say I didn't make it out last night. I could say a lot of reasons why but I was jus tired. From gettin up at 2am yesterday then 3am today and tomorrow it is killin my nap time. I do have solid plans of making it out tonight.

Well I'm sad to report that last night was not the night that Jack made it.

There were two registered casts and two nite champion casts and only one coon was seen between all of us. It just wasn't a good night.

It wasn't for a lack of trying on Jack's part. He hunted for nearly 1hr 15 mins before finally getting treed. There were four nests up the tree and we couldn't get anything to look. It was just flat out a bad night. Oh well, I'm very seriously considering going to Centerville, TN tonight to try it again. I'll post up if I make that decision.

CH 'PR' Midnight Moon Hillbilly Jim

Well at 18 months old it appears that Jim got loose on the chain and went runnin with another dog.
He went missing last saturday and was found dead yesterday laying in a ditch maybe 50yds or so from the house.

I wanna thank Mr. Larry Stringer and Mr. Kent Wiley for the opportunity to raise a Jabo pup from about 6mo to 18mo. Thank you both your support in this rough time.
and Larry I am still interested in taking you up on that offer we talked about. Just not sure when yet. I hope you can understand.

He was a pleasure to hunt and a great learning experience.

Thank you both for that rare opportunity.

Hope to see you both sure.

Looking into a future, I have a litter of pups coming around the first week of Feb. from CH 'PR' Wiley's Hillbilly Jack and a female from Mr. Tom Pridmore.

I hope to be back in the Jabo circle in a short period of time.

Well me and Jon went out and hunted for New Years Eve. I took Jack and Jon took Duke. We cast out and the dogs went hunting in the piss pouring rain and cold wind. They got treed and we couldn't see well enough to see up the tree and find it....oh well.

Had a good time though. I'm going again tonight. Gotta get ready for the Winter Classic.

Jack had a good night last night. I was dog tired so I cut him loose here at the house.

He struck a cold cold track and ended up grubbing it up and putting the coon in a massive blown down mess. He put it in a massive hole in one of the root systems.

I cut him again and he went to grubbing. He got treed in a big broke out den tree. I pulled a heck of a boo boo though. I had the wife bring down my chain saw as I was going to cut it down.....but I forgot to put fuel in it after using it the other day.....DOH!

Oh well, Jack treed his guts out and did a dang fine job. He is really starting to get back in shape. I'm headed to LBL tonight and going to put him in the rough stuff up there. Training has begun. =)

Tonight was a strange night.

I went out to LBL and I normally see about 10-20 deer out and about along the roads on LBL. Tonight I only saw a total of 4...the entire night.

I knew something was up, but I cast Jack out and Jack did what Jack does...go hunting.

Jack covered over 2 miles of ground and only opened up a hand full of times. I can't remember when this happened last with him, it is just strange. Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

Jack had a rough one. He had did a good job of going hunting, but he just wouldn't settle on a tree. And thus started three tracks.

He traveled a bit over two miles again, but to no avail.

05 DEC 2012

After getting in last night at 11pm and having to be up at 0400 to have my son to a wrestling meet at 0700, I was a tired dude.

So I decided to exercise the coons here on my place again.

Jack did a fine job tonight. He put a coon up a HUGE den tree I hadn't see yet, and treed his guts out.

After that I cut him loose again and he fell treed in a set of trees that had blown over with the tornadoes that had come through several years ago. Again, he treed like he meant it.

Jack did a bit of redeeming tonight, and did a swell job of it. I was proud of him.

Jack had a good day of rest on Sunday and had an even better Monday.

I so happened to meet up with Candice Schmidt, Justin Ray, and Luke Reddick.

It was a fun filled night. We cut loose and Jack along with a dog named Hustler grubbed up a track from 400yards out and ended treed at 0.6miles out. And were treed right.

They had the coon in a den tree, but we could see him this time! We tried to get him to come out, but no luck on that. We praised up Jack and Hustler and made the long trek back to the truck....up hill back to the truck. lol

All in all it was a fun night of slinging mud and treeing dogs. I had a blast.

Jenny 1/8/13. treed at 8:30 pm

Hey Kent, got jenny out right after mr. christmas left the house. from picking up hillbilly Jo-ann. Jenny was treed w/the meat by 8:30 ask him what time he left and do the math. quick Jenny quick. turned out on the hunting club. deer season is over! hope ya'll had good luck tonight. LWS.

Jack treed twice last night, and did it in style. However I cut loose here at the house due to getting off of work late and ended up with two den trees......

One of them was the same one as before, and the other is a new one. I have a good video of him getting after it. The video was after I had shined and shined and shined already and knew I wasn't going to get her out of her hole.

However, she is going to mess up one night and be too far from home to get back before ole Jack runs up her hind end....and on that day Jack will have his revenge.

Well sir you did tell me you wanted to be in the timber by 8:00.
We never turn't loose night. I got to Kent's around 11:00 and stayed long enough for Christina to use the bathroom, and Kent to look at Joann, and then rolled on back home.

Joann had a rough night after we got back, I don't think she moved off the couch the whole time, but she did lift her head up so I could sit down next to her LOL.

Bring her on when you come down on Saturday for the house warming and we'll go to LBL and cast them out. It'll be a good time to see Jo-Ann go again. She was a pleasure to hunt when we sent her back to Larry, and from what I gather she still is.

Larry, sorry about being rushed this morning, but work was a callin'. I'll shoot you a call this evening, I've got a question for you anyhow.
