Matt, what a start for this male out of Pete and Sunnie! The last two times out he has really started pushing tracks and tonight took a first tree after jamming it in front of the old dog when he already had first strike on old Storm.

I would look

for these dogs to have good noses! I have some of the Ginger blood in a female and she is unbelieveable when it comes to striking coon cold and moving them to hot and in the tree! She has the best nose I have ever had on a young dog still under a year and a half old. She can put her nose to the ground and throw it in the air, she is quick on both ends coon moving or not!!!!!

Good luck with this cross I believe this cross is what this breed needs and is what people have been looking for by putting track back in on so much tree dog out there today. The Grnitech Myers Blue Smokey II is crossing exceptionally well on Matt Turners line of dogs!

I have nothing to gain by saying these things and I dont even Know this fellow coon hunter, but Im personally loading up on Matt's line and putting as much of Smokey II as I can with them.
just my opinion but if u want more then track or a tree dog then right hear it is!!!!!

Larry You know the video`s you send me really cheer my day up.I made this cross to get me a good female and so far all are doing good except for the one Josh Hilton got hers flipped her stomach and she was a real looker too.
Your right on the Meyers SmokeyII Blood sure well balanced hounds.This combination worked well for Mr.Baker and still working today.Thanks again and hope you have the Best Of Luck with Shine.
Headed to Johns soon to look at the pups and Yes they are sharp.

Matt has made another great cross!!

This is Shine after an aewsom race thru water across a creek and into the hard woods with all 3 big coon. He was the first to the tree after my 11 yr old dog got hung up on a tap on the side of the creek, he took the track across and had all 3 coon in a big oak! He is only 5 months old.

The last track produced the coon in the middle front row, this coon was walking blow down trees and grape vines and when he went up Shine was step for step and bark for bark streight up on the wood with the old girl. Best he has treed yet!

what a night for monster coon and Shine showed he has got a great nose and can run with a heavy and I mean heavy frost on the ground with no problems, temp that night got down to 26 degrees. Shine is of Pete and Sunnie.

I `ve tried to make some good quality crosses and this is going to be another one.
I`ve been getting some fur down to my young hounds. been seeing some crosses being made off of offspring out of my hounds and waiting watching to see how good they reproduce.

I have two female s left off of Kid and Mae and they are big and have big mouths.good looking,prolly the best looking pups I`ve raised.performance paid up.
John Gill has a pair of pups off of kid left.Good looking pups with cream trim.

We had a good hunt last night John Pleiman brought his friend Jared Hoying in the pic.He has a big smile on his face handling KOOSERS BILLY THE KID for me most of the night.Jared plays triple A ball for the Texas Rangers.Great Pic of Dodger.Dodger is off of Tree Daddy and Philip Whitleys Eli.

Jared with Kid and John with Dodger the white specks in the picture is snow.
We all had a blast turning the hounds loose and the coon were moving well.
Thanks Jared and John for the hunt, I had a good time and keep Dodger in the timber he will make a top hound.Dodger looked good.

Need to get a pup to Wild Willie!! he just got a male off of Ice and Little Bock so he is looking to make a good cross!! If he can get a female from either litter, Kid X Mae or maybe even John Gill"s littler off of Kid this is what he wants to set up with !!!

I know thats a hot cross and I`m glad you got your hands on one.I won`t take the credit on that cross even tho it goes back to EBJ on both sides.there is another hot cross double Tree Daddy bred the same way that is going to be something to smile about. I didn`t make that cross either.I try to make a cross that is better than what I have and the one thing about this line of hounds is the foundation has been there from the beginning and intensified if anything.Prolly won`t suit the majority because they may run a little excessive at first.the tree is in them and they do make great tree hounds they have the meat a majority of time and want to smell the scent on the tree to tree.
Good Luck with Jane and if you know where any of her littermates are try to buy one.most not on sale anywhere.I know where a few are way out of my price range.see you at the hunts and Diam.Gal is about out of heat.we`ll be chasing you soon.He He
Another Hot cross is Tree Daddy X Booming Blu Lou.I ve been getting great reports and video`s on a regular basis.
I`m tickled for the guys who is making crosses and have my line as their foundation its a grate feeling and most of the guys call and see what expect before they make the cross.alot of outstanding crosses being made and on the ground that could be history in the makings.

We`ve been busy here trying to keep a few hounds (8) in the timber. I`ve bought a real nice double Tree Daddy female after a few phone calls checking on her littermates and the best thing I hear is balance,strike power,smoking fast track and most are split treeing on a regular basis.Looks that will get the show hound people a second wink.the best part she is young.
My friend Larry Eggleston (GO BLUE) has had good luck with this line and talked highly on the late Alex Wards Stonewall Jackson and Droop line mixed in with his Stinger female and has seen great hound work with her.As I talked and hear the passion of coonhunting and hound work with Larry and his hounds.This female came avalible from a big hound trade and is doubled up on the same line with Double Tree Daddy and Stinger mixed in.I`m looking forward to getting to show her off.never in the world did I think she would ever come up forsale.

If anybody has a pedigree on Stonewall Jackson I would love to see it.He was heavy in the 6th gen of the papers I seen.I`m thinking he was heavy jet 4.
I`m excited about the two new females I brought into my kennel this year passed on two dual grand female`s i`m sure they would have impacted my line and Kid would have been happy.
I`m sorry I didn`t have enough pups this year mabe next year i`ll raise a few litters. Kid has two female`s booked to be bred one is dripping now and the other is a repeat breeding.first cross is doing awesome and has all the tools to be something special.Kid is making a good donor on some great females.I want to Thank You Guys for giving Kid a chance.he is truly my favorite hound.
