hey Hoosier man remember back when you said that auburn would have to forfeit the nc and all its games and that auburn wouldn't make it to the big dance anyway well wrong again cam newton cleared by the NCAA and is eligible to play football and also that auburn had done nothing wrong in recruiting cam newton now what do you have to say

Michael, why is the State of Alabama one of the poorist states in the country? Obviously, Alabama and Auburn doesn't do much for the community do they? Boise would beat either team. Know why? Neither team has any defense. Lsu has the only good defense and there offense is horrible. Boise is the most complete team. Special teams failed them.

hoosier man 1 compares boise to all the teams just in there schedule and not all college football teams.alabama maybe one of the poorest states but we have the best football teams

i am a die hard sec fan and i have to agree with somebody that said there really aint a great team in the sec there are some really good teams with either a great defense or a great offense.

i got a feeling that the sec is bring another national championship home this year.

The only thing this ruling has done is open the door for the cheats and big time money to decide where a student will go to college if he is a star athlete just as long as it is a family member getting it from a silent booster no one is guilty. It takes a blind and deaf man to believe Cam didn't know what his father was doing. This will be bad for college football. Cam Newton is a complete freak of nature on the football field but he has learned to early the all about me syndrome that ruins players. He could be a great star in the NFL but he has some things to learn by the looks of it. When he is drafted #1 next year and recieves a big check, he should send each of his offensive lineman's dad a big check. lol

Cam will not be the #1 pick, not even the first QB drafted. He will go to the NFL but will not be the high pick many think he will be.

The NCAA has lost all credibility with this ruling. They are basically saying we know Cam's father was trying to get money for his sons committment but we can't prove Cam knew anything about it. They are opening pandora's box when it comes to college recruiting if they dont immediately change the rules so that a player can be held accountable for his parents, or coaches actions.

You know, this was a fun thread at one time, lots of opinion, not so much
fact! But it has run it`s course IMO. Now we`re going back to the Mason-Dixon line, and your teams are better than our teams. Your dogs are better than our dogs, your food is better, your girlfriends get treed quicker, and your dogs are prettier.......I gotta go, my thoughts, or lack-thereof, are running together!!

Just think on it for a moment. If the NCAA rules Newton inelgable they are most certainly going to loose to South Carolina. Then that raises the fact that a non AQ team (TCU) will be playing for the title and NOBODY wants that right?

Like I said months back, you guys are blind. If Alabama had only the one loss going into the IRON BOWL I GUARANTEE YOU NEWTON would have been ruled INELGABLE. The mdeia and the SEC will do whatever it takes to secure a title shot for the SEC. Keep you're blinders on the SEC wouldn't have all these watered down title games if a playoff was going on the last several years.
