The Friars open a shop

These friars were behind on their belfry payments, so they opened up a small florist shop to raise funds. Since everyone liked to buy flowers from the men of God, a rival florist across town thought the competition was unfair. He asked the good fathers to close down, but they would not. He went back and begged the friars to close. They ignored him. So, the rival florist hired Hugh MacTaggart, the roughest and most vicious thug in town to"persuade" them to close. Hugh beat up the friars and trashed their store, saying he'd be back if they didn't close up shop. Terrified, they did so, thereby proving that Hugh, and only Hugh, can prevent florist friars.

At midnight a pup I have staked out at the garden was barking. I turned her loose to run around and she treed in a pecan 9 steps from the end of her chain. Pecans aren't close to ripe yet but I shined and she started treeing on a pear tree 20 steps from her chain. I found two coons up there and when I shined back I found the one in the pecan. It's tough out there sometimes.LOL

We have been missing rain so far today... I'm kinda glad cause a BEAUTIFUL breeze is coming across me from the window and open front door! BEAUTIFUL!

As for coon... man we have a bazillion coming to the marshmellow trees(yes... I now use more than one tree... LOL! TONS of skunks, some yotes and NO possums at all! Of course ours have nothing to hunt them.... except the yotes and the roads... so hope they will be a HEALTHY number...

Well... I just got on here now... kinda late so I will go see wassup on here....IF I stay awake lol...
