Betty is doing well She has had 11 Chemo Treatment's 10 more to go.
Zero Nausea Very little pain no hair loss
we meet with the Dr. on the 3rd for her blood test result's.
there is a reason she is doing well it is prayer & a Good Dr.
she is on prayer list in churches in 15 + states plus Coonhunter's Friend's & thier Family's thank's again to every one.

Gayle so glad to hear the good report on Betty. Still praying for a full recovery. Talked to Sanford on 12/26 said he wasn't coon huntin any just running those beagles. Here's a couple pics of my grandson Walt and the youth group at his church on their second hunt this season (12/23/2012). His dog Hickup is Tapp bred on bottom side. I'm on the far left in the group picture - someone had to supervise. I had the flu and didn't go to either tree, just stayed at the truck.

Dandy looking group that smile on Walt's face says it all.
two of my grandsons loved to hunt then came the girls & stole them from me.
Two of my oldest Great grand kids 8- 5
that is all they want to talk about is dogs & hunting.
Sanford has called couple times lately I can't believe he doesn't hunt with his grandson that young man hunts about every night.
I suppose when I get old I will have to get a Beagle (Any way that is what I told Sanford)
Mike thanks for the prayers coming from GA.
Betty is doing well has never had any Nausea very little pain.
she has gained 7# since she started her treatment.

I have only hunted 5-6 times since mid oct.
did manage to slip over in Big River Country (Medora) early nov. win the Icha hunt run off seven casts good turn out for Nov.won a nice dog box.

Thanks for the congrats on my new Gr. Nt Shaker. Like you I was worried that it had ruined him when her got chewed on but thankfully he did bounce back. I remember you calling me when it happened and offering advice, for that I am grateful and will not forget. I have a great deal of respect for you and what you and your hounds have accomplished for many many years. It takes a lot of hard nights hunting to achieve what you have and it inspires others like myself to use our heads and work a little harder.
Congrats to you on your winning the ICHA run off. You can never have too many nice dog boxes. Maybe things will continue to get better so you can hit the woods again soon. I wish you, your family and your hounds a wonderful 2013!

Some of the young bucks have been hunting & treeing coons.

I would like to find a NATIONAL ENGLISH ASSO-- year book, i thought maybe some of your OLDER huntin buddies may have one? I would love to read some of the older b/s stories. lol
how that would be some history for us youngins!! alot of people
don't know about the national english-- would be around 1970 or before-- don't know the date it changed over to united.

I have some Nat. yr. books stored away it sure would be a job to find them.I have boxes on top of boxes of cooner full cry
bloodlines.
I think the first Bloodline mag. I have is 10-15 pages.
I don't remember what date but The last Nat. eng days was held at columbus In.
I also know why our Charter was pulled.
It had to be early 70's I was there with Rawhide he was born 1967 if I remember right he was between 3-4 yrs old.
with all the problems going on I left & didn't hunt.
