Are you coming down for Oaks this year?
If so your invited to come down and eat dinner with a few Bluetickers and go make a few drops and listen to all the punishment Eddie Harp has coming to him.it s alot of clean fun single hunt or mix your dog in.or just sit back and enjoy listning to the hounds.we will be running in some of the same spots the last time you were down and hunted with me.

Hey Matt drifter is starting to act like himself again but I'm going to lay him up off the hunts this weekend maybe take him out for a romp Thursday to see how he looks. Just don't want to push him too hard for autumn oaks yet. If he looks fine I will take him to a hunt next weekend. Just giving you an update.

My Ace male out of Kid and Sunni is looking good.this is going to be a real cross.I can`t wait to put a kill season on him.
Kid looked good again tonight he was under 7 coon tonight in 5 trees.good to get on regular hours again,first time all year.
I`ve been getting good reports on Kids offspring Thanks for all the hard work.

Billy kooser has a litter of pups off of Kid and Maggie get with him they should go fast.

On a sad note Brad and Dave Lackey said their new nt.ch Drifter died on the way home from oaks today.he was having problems breathing and was headed to the vet when they got home.they had him in the cab of the truck.not sure what happened.I. just want you to know how sorry I was to hear the news and your loss He was a good one forsure.He sure sounded good Thursday night on the two turns he made.he was quick and was a loud tree dog.

I appreciate it Matt... It was hard... A fine hound for sure and he hadnt seen more than 30 35 coon in his life....thanks for making that cross Matt and John Eldridge thanks for training him. He was a pleasure to hunt and would give anything to have another hound like him. He gave me his all every night I had him in the woods and was that type of hound that wanted to please you. Thanks again Matt you truely are a stand up guy. And Matt just think what he would have done after a good kill season.

I was sorry to hear that Brad and Dave lackey lost Drifter. I hunted with and drew Drifter he was a very very nice hound and I intended to breed to him. Love that tree daddy stock. Speaking of tree daddy pups Gr Ch Nt Ch pr Meadowoods Blue penny sure took care of them Sat nt at Autumn Oaks.

First strike on six coon five first trees FLAWLESS she had legitmate score of 1350 + but the judge beat me with 11oo plus should of had about 900+ Had a walker dog ride penny the whole time judge wouldnt scratch him as he had drew Penny before. She started sitting off tree to get away from and judge minused her. Once he was ahead he scratched walker dog. I was so proud of her it wasnt even a contest awsome dog Matt she is truly one of the best I ever snapped a lead on!

I ve been running my hounds trying ti keep a good rotaion with them. I went out with Jeremy Bayless and Buckeye Daddy he sure looked good and needs a good kill season and then put in the hunts next year.Buckeye is going to make a nice hound.

John Gill I `m glad your doing good with Penny and I will say the times i`ve drawed you we had good hunts. I know your proud of your hounds and I will give you credit you take them to the hunts and try to promote your hounds.I want to say Thank You for hunting hounds out of my yard.continue doing what you Love doing and remember the best hound don`t win everytime.Good Luck to you in the future.Your Friend !!!

Elmo,
I've been getting good reports on the Pete Pups there are a few running and treeing good with company.couple are all business when turned loose.not afraid to get in the dark.they are diffently going to be tree dogs. I have one pending, should be done this weekend. One of the males looked awesome on a live coon and his friend decided he better get one.
So I have one left to move and I m working on a partnership with one of the females and keeping one for myself.
If you have room I ll bring you one to the round up. Pups are paid up on performance and I m still working on the S.S. all I need is the copy of Pete s DNA. I ve talked to mr.Boyd and he s gonna call ukc to give them his permission to sale me a copy of it.then the rest will be history in the makings.
I hope to see you at Flora & let me know if you want a pup.

You are tempting me and boy having one out of that mix fits well in what I'm trying to do with my line of dogs. Oh boy.
I know our lines cross extremely well together I see that for sure.

What have you heard on Sunni's first litter? What does the last pup look like?

I just bred Maggie to Magic but who know what I will do for future crossing and hunting. I know I like what I have.

Matt thanks for the Hunt last night I really enjoyed getting out as short as it may have been we got to see some good dog work That young hound ACE looked real nice stick with him he is going to be a real good one
I really like what your doing with your hounds over at Mosquito Creek You got it going ON!!!!! Keep up the good work and keep producing hounds like you are & keep em BLUE
Hope we can get out again later this week even if it is just a drop or two

He has started treeing at 8 weeks old Elmo he is treeing drags for all 5 of my other 10 week old pup!

John good hunting with you.You have a nice male (Lonesome).
That was a nice pup that Ed Mead took home I held him for a while saturday night when I got back.I think i`ve took showers where I didnt get as wet. Kid did the same thing got deep treed and had another coon not scored. I had to wade a ditch that was way higher than my chaps, water was cold.Kid has a knack of getting deep.Good Luck you`ll get that last win soon.I seen where the other three males that was on our cast thursday all won cast friday night. Thanks for guiding and good luck with those puppies.

I`ll try to post some pics I took saturday soon.
