I want to say thanks again for the hunt on Wednesday night both of you are outstanding guys had a great time Legend and Stinger are some nice hounds .............. will be breeding something to one of them in the future .............. sorry I missed the hunt on Thursday night I was truly drained pray it all went well and God Bless

I enjoyed meeting you and thanks for going with us.nest year plan on staying with us.congrats on your cast win.I enjoyed the hunt,I know you was wore out and thats a lot of driving in 24 hours. as far as the stud dog hunt.I would like to see us drop the hounds single and everybody stay together or split into two groups.it would be nice to see more young hounds go.it was a great time.I think it well for the first one.

Matt, I'm sure we will get together. I haven't hunted with Stinger since he was just a little more than a pup. He looked good back then. I saw Stinger just a few hours after he was born, and watched him grow up. I knew he would be special.

Wayne only lives a few miles from my house, and I never get to see him. I stay on the run. When I go home, its to get ready to go somewhere else. I need to slow down, and hopefully I can.

I am going to take Wayne hunting one night; He said he would love it. It's still in his blood......I don't know of a cure.

It was good meeting you.The fish went fast ,I had more thawed out.1m looking forward to getting together again ,we didn`t know about the mini slam when we started this.I think we could have had a couple more blues in the slam.
I want to thank everybody for calling about pups I have been getting verbal bookings almost everyday.super fly-8,and jbelle-6 and fly-2. I should know in a few weeks if Lou caught.

I just came in from feeding and it looks like Super Fly is going to have a dozen pups.

Huck won the overall water race and the overall field trials yesterday at Millington. This dog is a natural, I have people coming up to me all of the time asking; where I got this dog, Do I want to sell him and that this dog is got one hell of a mouth on it. My response is ; Stinger, no and thanks.. Will post some pics and a video of him treeing maybe tonight.. He is a pup at 10 mo old and has been running track since 6 mo. Matt what are the females you have stinger bred to right now and in future..

I know where your coming from,I went last night with one from C Cadle`s droop bred female that goes back to the jim and april cross,standing straight up on the wood and coon crazy and has a good mouth thats getting louder each time I see him,and goes hunting deep by himself .I took my side winder female out of stinger and fly last night she is get deep by herself and great mouth on her I love this female.strikes coon out of the dog box.

my friend mike has a young male out of stinger and sadie older brother to Gus above that is turning the crank.can push a track out our soy bean fields and can get a track on the move right now.has that big mouth also, mike can`t wait till it gets dark so he can take smoke out.he`s had him for three weeks now.
One thing I can say Stinger pups may not be for the guy who may be on the Lazy side they tend to take you hunting.

As of right now Larry Storts bred two of his females heavy Doc`s Blue Husler and Hammer Two bred (Tree Hounds) .I won`t be breeding anything to stinger till this spring.I have put Tree Daddy on the back burner and I bred two of my females to him.both has caught.
Congrats on Hucks sounds like he is the right kind I`m sure I would like him.Lets hear him treeing .Thanks Matt.

I started taking powder again and she sure did a great strike and tree job on one. she is a good tree dog and is going to make a nice hound.I think it was a good cross between annie and stinger we thought they would be some good tree dogs with all the sage .Let Duane know she is going to make a good one.have you heard about any of the others in the litter lately.I sure would like to hear about the nice male that went to northern ohio.I thought about doing a off spring report on stinger pups to see where they are all at.any how Thanks for making the cross.

your season will be in soon so maybe you`ll get him out. how loud is boomer? I have`nt talked to Dennis in a while I`m sure hie is busy with bear season. Stinger has pups from 8 different females and has produced extra nice pups from each one.time will tell which was the best crosses on him.I still don`t have any pups from a nite ch or gr nite female from him he seems to be doing his part and should the way he is bred.It sure will be nice if Larry Storts two females take.i hear they are extra nice tree dogs.

LEGEND AND BIG COUNTRY

I went last night with Tom with Legend and Mike with Big Country.I didn`t take a hound and I watched these two hounds do their work,both being off of my two studs.the next generation,being the breeder of both hounds I can say this next generation put a big smile on my face.Legend does it Tree Daddy style while Big Country is Stinger and Ellis Blue Jim all over but with the Lay up ability he is on his way to becoming a nice hound with all the extras mouth,track speed and a belly rubbing tree hound.this coon season will be the icing on the cake with him.
I want to say good luck to Tom with Legend and Mike with Big Country and their journeys with these blue hounds they are both making top notch cooners and are worthy of breeding any good female to.

I lost Gus Thursday night.Man it was raining bad 8 inches at the house Friday morning.Got him back home this morning.I am sure glad he had sence enough to come back to where we turned him loose.I sure worried about him.

Matt,just got off the phone with Mike.He absolutely loves the Country pup.Told me this morning that he is just about ready to enter up in some hunts.He said he doesn't want to back anything and needs to see how he will act with dogs covering him all the time,what little he has been hunted with dogs he splits all the time.has had dogs back him a couple times and hasn't bothered him any,but not enough to tell for sure yet so he is gonna pack him up for a couple of weeks.If all goes well him or I one will get him out here shortly(probably me).LOL.Thanks for the hunt last night,get your stuff packed for Tenn. in the morning!!!

Stinger x Jim's Blue Fly

Hey Matt, I switched from bear to coyote a few weeks ago and having a blast, these blue dogs are sure showing me alot of yotes! I got this stinger male started good on coon and bear, but with his speed i couldn't resist putting him down on some coyotes. He is cold trailing and jumping them everyday for me, he's a bay and stay type hound and should be pulling fur before long, not bad for 11 months! My boys named him Slew Foot after the bear from the old Johnny Horton song! I'll give you a call this week, Mike

I`m glad your stinger hounds are doing it for you.Slew is a great looking hound.I hope these hounds give you great enjoyment.your Lou female is a nice sounding female on the tree.Thanks for keeping me posted I could use some yote hounds here.we have a mean one thats not scared of us.it jumped Legend the other night .it is a bold yote it will let you get close.
I picked up a ch win on Stinger and a best of show on powder.she now a ch. and Legend made grandnite tonight.the dog that knocked him out of the world hunt BIG DE won the world hunt.
I hunted stinger he was off by himself with the coon both times.he went 1-1/4 deep the last drop.the other hounds fell in behind us and had a coon to beat us.great cast and no questions good hound work all night.give me a call thanks and good luck.

Matt the Fannie female crossed up on Tree Daddy should make for some good hounds.Smokey River blood always seems to cross well on Arkie and Vaughn dogs.Gus is doing well.
