Mike if you think your gonna get too much.......seen some up our way. Talked to a farmer friend who said his parents went over to southern In. this weekend and the corn over there was sad lookin',it may be too late for it.

I don't think this rain we are getting will help the corn but it will help the beans. The ground is wet and no crunchy. Looks like we are going to get some more later.

Well top of the cool mornin' too you all Mike you and Spotty both got more than what I did,a big fat 0 but it is cool this fine day and I'll take it. I reckon it split again,but the day will come when it does rain we'll be complainin' about too much then.

Storm tore things up so bad here they have canceled the parade and the fireworks,,,trees down in the streets no power in places yet.

Rain and Farmers Dancing.

We had a nice shower for about 20 minutes yesterday. Pretty sure saw some farmers Dancing in the streets of Ashmore. Without being drunk this time.

We just got back from pickin' more blackberries,hit the mother load this time,and spooked up 2 fawns,when they tore out of their hidin' place they just about bulldozed the brush with 'em. If you have more cobbler than you can eat, don't forget your hunting partner!! I haven't see many fawns this year. That is good to hear, I am sure they are there though. Ellen's coon Beowuff is doing good. He roams free, she calls him in the evening and comes out to be fed and handled, he is a big baby. We taught him to go to creek and he catches minnows and crawdads now. He is adapting to wild well. I am sure one day he will just go away. Are you going to be home tonight Tony? If so I will run Tickets up by.

What are we selling tickets for? Chuck sorry about the storm and having no power. That sucks in this type of weather. I will pray they get it restored quick and slow the storms down.

Chuck, Hope they get your power back quickly. Do you have a generator? I keep telling TD we need to get one cause we've been without power for 3 or 4 days before but when the electric is on you don't think about it. Been out taking care of garden and goats, running water to the well and the animals. It is starting to get pretty sticky now. Sure was nice last night when the storm passed by cooled off big time to bad it didn't drop some rain and stay cool. Mike, they are selling tickets for a couple of guns for the club. Jeff Td is working today I will have him give you a call. Stay safe and cool all!!!!!!!

Yes i have a generator ,but my power never got knocked out. just North of me is where all the damage was done,,,its bad but not tornado bad like i have seen. what makes me upset is the gas stations here that do have power and gas is jumping the price of gas back up to 3.65 in an emergency situation ,,not right in my book!

Ok Linda tell them I will buy some tickets. They have bought from me before so I will make sure I buy from them. Our club is selling tickets on a 870 Remington 3 1/2 inch magnum. It has a 26inch barrel and all synthetic made.

Blotted roads till 7:00pm plenty hot for sure. Mike the tickets are $5.00 each guns are Beretta 22 pistol--other is Ruger 10-22 rifle. Chuck I'm with you big time rip off,when 9-11 happened I was in Ohio bought diesel for $1.39 gal. on the way to Cleveland,on the way back it was over $3.00 had plenty too get home on crooked thievin' bastards!!!!!!
