Hi guys. Nothing going on here except for rain, high heat and humidity.

Corky- congrats on the veggies. My cukes are about an inch and my zucchini are about 2 inches.

Good morning gang. We are getting a bunch of rain here.

I talked to Shannon on FB and her dad was in a bad car accident. As I understand he is expected to recover from his injuries. Someone in the other vehicle that was involved did not survive the accident. Prayers for everyone would be appreciated.

Wendell - now I see why you and Dave spend so much time on the mountain. Tending your crops.

Good grief what a night 63 degrees by the cell phone is a might windy funny but game don't seem to be moving much one more drop and I think I will call it a night had a good time at Cllifton Forge today'

I'm back. All went well with Bob's surgery as far as they can tell. We have been home since tuesday pm. He is doing VERY well for a person with six incisions in his belly, gross post surgical blisters(REALLY big gross things!) and a catheter the size of... Well I wont talk about the cath but it is NOT SOMFORTABLE at all. He has taken to using the large urine bag and carries it around in a bucket... He even walked on the treadmill today since it rained and he couldn't walk outside. Once the cath is out it will be much better for the poor guy. He is bored physically and he HATES me doing all his chores. Luckily we've had rain so I haven't had to water!
TONS of summer squash here. Also the snap peas but we have n't been picking. We DID have amazing mulberry smoothies one night...picked lbs of them...and have more! We have a few trees now and will give a nice one to the neighbors once Bob is well(in a couple mos!) We have red rasp. and the black rasp. are close. No bear on the cam BUT we got 4 deer together...at least 3 were bucks in velvet and the 4th could have been since it was same size (could n't see head) One was a five pointer. Big for HERE but TINY compared to what we see on here!
Mum is well, I know she missed me but i'll be home with Bob at least one more weekend. He is VERY limited! Her freind Carlos is there from Mexico. He may have housing in Brookline soon so they can visit more often. My sister is healing still pretty well. She puts weight on thr leg a bit much so slow...but it is getting better. My sister Marthas husband Rob's prostate cancer has advanced just like Bobs has and HE is deciding on treatments now too! Akkk! When it rains it pours....
OK.. I have 10 days to catch up on here... Akkk! Nice pix and such. Great to be back on but it will be spotty.... I am SO busy!

66 degrees here in the mountains I guess it's cooler than last week but it's still hot in the timber I am so ready for fall and for it to get dark earlier but we still got the dang dawg days of summer to go threw yet what a bummer

Good evening, got a bunch more rain today. After tomorrow there is a chance it might be dry for a couple days.

Today was Susan and my 25th wedding anniversary. Time sure does go by quick.

Corky/Wendell = nice pics.

Prayers for Bob.

Continued prayers for Shannon's dad. He was released from the hospital but still in a lot of pain and having trouble with the girl loosing her life.
