OK... enough for the night... eventually I'll get ALL my pix to my photobucket... Honest! lol... these just took priority... SO CUTE! Can't believe how many babies we have around here... wish that there was hunting land... eventually if we get too many we'll have another distemper outbreak.... It is still good to see we HAVE wildlife in these suburbs... and plenty of land around for SOME of them...

Those are so cute!!! We were in MO this weekend and they air stunk from the pole cats in several areas on our way back to the hotel at night. Very pretty country there. I love oh too.

Hi Everyone!

Thanks on the pix... LOVE our critters here... I spent a good deal of the morning getting more pix to photobucket. Still have a flash drive full though...AKkk! I'm just happy to get the comp. memory a BIT emptied out.
Ruff day here... My friend Beki told her hubby Kenny, who is living with us... that she wanted a divorce instead of trying to work it out...after the seperation they have had... It has been so ruff on Ken as he battles depression and anxiety BUT... Bob and I assured him that he WILL stay with us and start his life over with our help, as long as need be. He has become another son to us these past couple months. It was tuff to see him hurting and I will ask for some prayers for both of them....
Other than that... and the heat which was only mid eighties but felt grosser... and some CONSTRUCTION on our house... nothing to much here. The news told us that Thurs and Fri will be extreme for these parts... close to 100... so we will be extra sure those wild critters(and the domestic ones) have extra water!
This will weed out the weak...all over the nation. All of you be careful where it is worse than here!!!!
have a good night, hug your loved ones and be Thankful for any good thing you experienced today... as we never know what the good Lord has in store for us... I know that I pray to take away teh pain of others, even if it means a bit more suffering for me..but I"ll admit it hurts me to see a friend or loved one in pain... I have known Beki most of her life... having helped to raise her here at them farm... and I'm dissapointed in her lack of willingness to try harder with Kenny... and I'm heartbroken for him... he has had a tough life. Today I just feel strongly that ALL of us with strength need to be there for a friend or a loved one when we can be... even if it brings us some suffering... It brings us so much GOOD to help others!

thanks for the thoughts for our friends! Hated to see Kenny go off to work this am... he is so sad. He is so in love with Beki I'm a believer that EVERYTHING happens for a reason, good or bad.... Will be there for our friends as best we can be!

Hot day expected but not like the next couple should be I guess... TOUGH on the critters and poor people... we will be praying for those in need!!! Glad to see some of you all are getting needed rain. Bond, Hoping you guys get some of the needed wet stuff soon!

Heather those pictures of the kitten coon were so cute! Flo caught and killed one last year Either she had treed it and it started to come down when she caught it, or she just caught up to it and had it bayed. When I got a little closer to where she was she came to me (which she never does), and when I told her to take me back where she was she took me to the kitten she'd got ahold of. Made me a little bit sad...it was just a wee one, and so cute! I got to see a sow and her kittens coming across the swamp bottom while deer hunting one evening too. I love seeing the young ones, of just about any kind!

It'll take almost as long to harvest that 20 bu per acre corn as 150 bu. No irrigation close around here.

Went to the New River Valley Fair tonight (AKA Linkous Reuion) saw Randy Houser Heidi Newfield and Walker Hayes in concert they were all 3 pretty good here are some of thier songs if you like country some good music on a hot night and I must admit Heidi is pretty good eye candy lol anyway it was well worth the 8 dollar ticket and a front row seat at that

Bob and I are BOTH suckers for the babies too. I'm thinking the baby SKUNKS are ALMOST cuter than the coon kitts! LOL... It is such a wonder to me that mother nature allows us suburban folk to enjoy the wildlife. I always pray the human influence will not kill em all off! (NOT talking about hunting btw...but the development!)
OH YEAH! LOVED the pix of King and Queen event! HAVE you lost weight??? You look great... you look HAPPY! OH and the dawgs look good too! lol... almost forgot that part.
I also agree on Johnny being a great guy, I"ve enjoyed the friendship with him on here and would love to meet him some day....along with all of you. SOMEDAY.. if the economy ever turns... and we are less broke... and get to Autumn Oaks again... I would LOVE for a bunch of us to get together there... we enjoyed it there tons the yrs we went!!!

All you farmers... hoping the weather improves for you! All of you OLD dudes or asthmatics etc... like me.. BE CAREFUL in this heat! We are in the "danger zone" here for lots of folks... and I pray for all of them. I will be VERY careful myself as well, will go SLOW etc...
