Morning everyone. Nice 55 degrees here. Wish it would last but we not that lucky. Thursday and Friday is going like be living in hell. Oh well sit back it will change soon. I hope.

Went and picked about 2 qts. of blackberries,some almost as big as a grape,others as small as a pea.....but still cool N.E. breeze.

10-4.......Maybe if I get too come down this fall and hunt with you I can bring it then The creek where we got some of them berries was dry with a puddle left with coon tracks all over where they had been cleanin' out the minnows,when that creek runs dry it's big time dry.

That is bad. The rivers around here are getting shallow. There is deep holes that will never get shallow. Lakes are down to. Soon there will be lot of fisherman hitting stumps they didn't know they were there.

I'm done fishin till the water comes up. Last time we was out we highlanded the boat on a sandbar.

That is bad. Hope no one got hurt. As strong and healthy you are I would imagine you just picked the boat up and put it in deeper water?

This was taken right in front of the house out of my front door this deer was munching on my flowers and bushes. Sorry it's a little blurry but it was early and I didn't have my glasses on. Linda
Nobody got hurt but our fishing trip was cut short we couldn't go any further.

Sorry Linda I thought TD made that statement about a sand bar. Linda did you ask that deer to come in the house where it was cooler? Has anyone seen any fawns yet? I haven't seen any around here. I have seen the does and few bucks but that is it. We have 101 degrees now. It is hot the worst days are the next two and after that.

we are having a hard time at work keeping enough water in the lake for the plant. We have three pumps that pump water from kaskaskia into the lake and two of the three have been on for a long time. The third one will be turned on friday. It's getting bad!!
