Hi There!

BOND! CONGRATS on your sons amazing accomplishment! That is SUPER and the team is doing GREAT! WOooHooo!

Swamp Cabbage tea sounds like a laxitive to me! LOL... Can't imagine whatt it would be like..... Whitebread...I think you can KEEP IT!

You all can keep your GATORS too... Hate to think of them in your hunting grounds! Be careful out there.....

Got a busy weekend. Dylan has his Eagle ceremony and dinner so I'll be busy with scouts and family.... and I have to put a dress on (GAG).... lol.... Not sure if I'll be on here tomorrow at all....have to see how much it tires me out to socialize with "normal people"....

Have a GREAT night, hope to hear about Good Hunts!

HappyHunting Heather

Morning...

...Oops Good Afternoon!

Had a few spare moments to get on here and relax... so HI EVERYONE!

Hope you all have a GREAT DAY! Heather

WARNING... do not read my PS if you are eating!

PS... You know how I said I had an old hen die...and get carried away???? lol.. Bob called me from out back on his cell and asked if I had put her remains up in a pine tree out back! Well I had not but I'm about 99% sure it WAS the coons since they left feathers on the rock they eat on at the den tree.... Glad they got a good meal from her remains.... Better to have dead things go back to nature in my opinion.

No chicken for me today... esp. not on the bone.... YUCK! lol.....

It was AWESOME! Lots of local politicians (nice ones) etc.. nice to be with all sorts of family too. The other Eagle, Ryan, is one of Dylan's best friends... and his family was awesome. It was a Highlight of Dylans life and he was glowing. Bob too. I only wish Dylan's mom, Shelley were alive and had been there....instead of me..... She was in his heart and in Bobs though... right up on the stage.

Ham and Eggs sounds GREAT! YUM! Heather

Morn'n, Glad ya'll had a goodtime Heather.

Some are starting to get a shower every now and then, but we have missed them for the most part. Every little bit helps. There wont be any dryland corn or peanuts this year and dryland cooton doesnt look good either. Irrigated cotton does not look well either, the farmers got a bunck of bad seed this year.

Hi There!

Just now getting a chance to get on here...

Was a nice day to start but got yucky steamy gross in the eve! Real muggy. Nice breeze coming in the windows now though...finally!
Slough... really hoping the weather turns in a good way for you!
Was planning on sleeping most of today... since I was up all night last night, but a snooze or 2 for about an hour... some how it never happened and I'm still awake now? Have not had insomnia like this in a while... so I will warn you once I get sleepy... I may not get on here for a couple days. Brain is in a weird cycle.... I WILL be fine, just happens every once in a while.
Been sorting thru pix, cropping and editing pix to get on photobucket, and... I even made some PROGRESS! YAY! That MIGHT be why my brain is going non stop?
Anyway... wanted to say HI to you all and HAVE a good night etc.... HappyHunting!! Heather

Splitting Wood?

Man... I'd like to be SAWING wood(isn't that a way of saying snoring?)... LOL...

Corky, I got a bit of sleep last night... but sitting on the sofa with the laptop again...LOL...
Got the plumbers here today FINALLY doing the finish plumbing on the big part of our addition...the one we started in 2003-2004....that made our little 2 bedroom cape a BIG CASTLE! The one that has cost us more than half a million and been unfinished and unused and.... made us crazy for yrs now.... LOL... It's GOOD they are here BUT... I have the 2 dawgs... and ONE of them... the little one with that sharp cur feist voice... is VERY protective(noisy) lol....

Very exciting to have some work going on again but very distracting too... and expensive.... The whole project started BEFORE Bob's "temporary" $40,000.00 pay cut. SO we have way too much house and way too little $$$ but that is life and our own fault... At least there will be equity once done!

SO, have a good day, stay cool, stay wet or dry, which ever you need in your areas!
Heather

One coon got the first 2 ( 100) feet ROW of sweetcorn I had on the first crop . Then I got him,, Then deer had avoided my peavines but they could stand it no longer when the next day, I was fixing to pick and shell a half acre worth of cow peas. DEER did not eat the Peavines , OH NO, had to eat all the peas standing upright like a hard on and ready for whatevev came along. I hope those deer got a belly ache for what they ate. Coondogs are not ssupposed to be deer chasing fools but they are supposed to protect the Masters Property . Well this here bitch must have gone to Colledge in California where they do not undestand the concept of Protecting Private Property, But what am I to say and extremely dumb one don't understand Master LOL Hope it ain't your stupid daughter you are doing without in order to send her dumbass off for a "higher education" Even though the pup I had staked out was not much , In Fact, NO HELP at ALL, Then I traded off Cracker dogs on the stake out ,in fact COPS ought to quit using that language. And if their stake out ain't no better than that Cracker dog was , they ought to just turn in the rest of that stimulus money if they gave a hoot about stealing money delegated to an agency to which they was supposed to work but which they ain't worked at in three months. But do you reckoin that honest as the day is long Cop is going to open his mouth about secureing his illigitimate check from the US Government ment, But I recon if ya'll ever hear from me again , it will be from the jailhouse because I was reporting the facts withjout a government backed Journalistic Degree.

Two Beers & A Mayonnaise Jar

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 Beers.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.

When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls..

He then asked the students if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar He shook the jar lightly.

The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full.

They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.

Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full.

The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two Beers from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand.

The students laughed..

'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life..

The golf balls are the important things---your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.

The sand is everything else---the small stuff .

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.

The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.

Spend time with your children.

Spend time with your parents.

Visit with grandparents.

Take time to get medical checkups.

Take your spouse out to dinner.

Play another 18.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter.

Set your priorities.

The rest is just sand.

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the Beer represented.

The professor smiled and said, 'I'm glad you asked.'

The Beer just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of Beers with a friend.
