Treed with Annie & Jimmy on 1st track. Split across ditch from them next drop. Treed with Annie on next drop. Trees with both feet on tree looking straight up- nice chop when cool or squall bawl when he gets hot. Lookin' good. Take care, Ron.

Tramp treed 2 kits in one tree last night all by himself, and looked good doing it I'm told. I get a kick out of Josh, ( the one hunting Tramp for me ) he is new to everything, and he thought because there were 2 kits in the tree that just made Tramp an even better dog. I told him it's the time of the year where you might have 7-10 sets of eyes looking back at you. If/when that happens to him, I'm guessing he'll walk to my house to tell me about it in person and not sleep for 3 days.

Haha! He will learn in time. Ron's Bub dog is a full brother to Tramp, from the first cross.

I honestly think Tramp could compete right now in a hunt, but I don't wanna see anything bad happen to him, especially at the delicate age of 12 mos old. I told Josh that I may have to take the reins over next year and go to a few bigger hunts. Josh said that his only requirement is that I take him with.

Josh is a very talented young wrestler at Cuba City and the reason he ended up with Tramp is that he needed something to keep him occupied to keep him out of trouble. I'd say mission accomplished, he doesn't miss many nights in the woods now, and all he talks about is coon hunting and dogs.

Sounds like this cross is working. BUB has been looking good for amount of times he's been in the woods. If I have enough handlers. Him, Annie & Rock will be in Cobb Fri. night & again next week at Zone III hunt. Take care, Ron.
