I was wondering if bullet II ever makes it to any other state closer to maryland for any period of time? I would really like to breed my smokey river gyp to him but its a 18 hour drive for me and with work and everything I couldn't come out there. I think it would make an awsome cross. She is throwing pups that start early and do it natural from day one, and those pups have sires that are coon dogs but not even close to being in the same league as bullet II so I can only imagine how good that cross would turn out

Thanks for the complement and interest of Bullet II but it sounds like you have a real nice female there. Unfortunately I have no current connections over your way. At his age it would be hard to do, but if there were five or more females lined up to breed to him it would be an option.

Lee,
Sure do like the pups out of Bullet II And Jenny. If you boys breed that Rattler and Stormy female I want a female pup. Stormy was one of the Best females I ever put a lead on. Her pups outa Rattler were very nice as well. I don`t have anything that will be in until this fall but will be giving you a call.

As long as nothing happens there ought to be some more titled pups for Bullet II soon.

No he is not. I paid him up last year and had to lease a female just to raise any pups. If someone were to breed to him we could work out something on performance. Otherwise, its just a waiste of money.

Well thanks anyway. If you do get some interest and send him over this way let me know. She won't be due to breed till january. Also if you do decide to sell some semen I would be interested in doing it that way too

That sounds like a plan. As long as he is still alive I won't be selling or using the semen. I hope he sticks with me for a little while longer. His sperm count is still great and I am keeping my fingers crossed that stays the same as well.

Hello Everyone

Well I am not to keen on all the bloodlines and soforth but I'm trying to learn as I go. I just wanna say I got a pup out of BulletII and Wards blue June II and I am very pleased with him he is currently a Grand show champion and we also have two 1st place wins towards his Nite Champion, fixing to start working on that really hard. But I seen the BulletII thread and I thought I would join in with ya'll. I met Mr. Vining in friendship arkansas a couple months ago at the RQE and was pleased to meet him and enjoyed the conversation. Well I will try to post a pic of my pup before long.

I havn't seen Mr. Vining in a long time. I always enjoyed hunting with him. He sure has the coon down there, but the walking can surly get rough.lol Good luck with the young hound. I would like to see a picture of him when you get time.

Mcsqeeze : I know the dog that you were talking about the other day talking about ugly and good at the same time. If they could hear him when he first opens, listen to him drift out, then,, Bam!! Walk in and someone must have put a coon up that tree everytime we tree, cause it ain't slick!!

i have a 19 month old out of bullet 11, i would part with him to fella that likes the bullet dogs. He is in alliance ohio. $350 Would make a deal to a youth hunter, if he is young and truly wants to hunt than he or she has enough money for this male. This dog is not treein coons and is not started. I had his litteermate brother in texas treeing wild coon at six months and got ran over. My buddy joe that had this litter was nice enough to let buy this male back last november. He was green when i bought him and still green.

He has been to the woods with my bullet female a dozen or so times. He is gone when you cut him and most the time is at the tree when you get there, he is looking up but i have never seen him tree with her.
I have hunted smokey river blue dogs since i started and am not quitin but just not giving him enough time to learn. He is bred like one would want BulletXRembers Wendy

Mr. Higgins she is a fine looking hound. If you wouldn't mind please posting her pedigree if you have time. I know what it is, but I just want people to see where she gets her good looks.lol. Bullet II throws fine looking hounds, but she certainly looks like her mothers side. Jeff Bradford deserves thanks for making the trip and making that cross happen. I would love to take a hunt with her sometime too. Great job with her and good luck with her in the future.
