Warm wet spring night game was a moving but than I dropped a little more firepower tonight not that it did my two young red dogs much good Samantha got deep and treed one thing is for sure ya had better have your boots laced and ready to coon hunting haven't hunted her but 4 or 5 times since Christmas you should go with her when she is in shape

Beautiful here in the mountains. Thought I would drop in it's been a few days. We lost 2 family members within 24 hours apart last week it's been pretty rough on my family. Now I'm back to huntin so all is good.

Randy hate to hear the sad news I often wish I had asked more ? of family members like there life experiences like jobs places they had been how they meet there spouse family stories etc when we are young we think they will be there forever and take them for granted but as we get older we realize just how short and precious life is

But back to coon hunting it was a beautiful night while my hunt for ole Ricky was unsuccessful when I got home and was putting the hounds up I heard a coon chattering down in the hollow so I walked down to investigate and sure enough in that big ole hollow popular sat 3 tiny little Ricky's

I think Drago might see the light with this one,lol.

I did go hunting with a buddy and his walker dog. He kept saying he seen coons in the tree. Must have been them little one only he could see.lol
Havent seen any signs of the small ones moving yet around the house hopefully they will start before long.

Been out turkey hunting a few times just have not been able to get them to come in.

Guess me and the hounds will go up to C'burg this weekend and turn the terror loose on them.lol.

Did have a little mock hunt with my two dogs and Justin Friday night. The little boy ended up taking it by 25 points. Seen two coons in a little over an hour of being gone. We had fun and he is learning some tough breaks,lol.

Have fun everyone and prayers to all in need.

HOWDY!

Prayers to ALL! Extras to you and your family, Randy. So Sorry to hear of your losses.

Been busy, had to stay extra day at mums and then was in a coma with tiredness...and then busy with garden etc. All well and good with Mum. Bob and I pretty well healed form our injuries...lol... HAd FANTASTIC time at Hannahs 2nd Bday party! She is a total delight. Not sure any of my pix were at all decent and the cam has been worse than ever! lol.. Will post pix if anyone got good pix of Hannah...once I get any. WIll post Birdie pix if Brandon gets any good ones. There was nest action over the weekend...and he set up a tripod but will be a while to use up roll of film..Yes, REAL film... lol MY pix were totally bad, only I can tell it's a red tailed hawk cause I could see with the binoculars.. LOL... Bob laughed at my pix.
Bob will be going in for surgery coming up in June we think. His prostate cancer has come to the surgical point. We are lucky cause he is SO YOUNG and we caught this SO EARLY. All should be well..but it's still scary for him with the after effects possible and surgery IS surgery..even if robotic and with one of the best surgeons in the world... I will ask for prayers when we are ready for sure!
Garden all planted. Flower seeds to go when we make some new beds(Poor Bob!). We have moved some baby trees, will move some more raspberries, have plants to move and lots to do. We will be limited of course when Bob is recovering, but we'll still have fun! Nice to see how much lived from last yr and the flowers should be nice. Some day I'll get a Good cam again!

to all. I called my Mom this morning. She is coming to stay with Donna & I for a month towards the end of May. Not too many years ago, I would have dreaded it. Guess I have gotten so I've realized that my Mom hasn't got too many more years before Our Father calls her home. Its funny, but I am truly lookin forward to her visit.
