WELL... at least MOST of the people here in MA and in Boston were pretty civil...what a MESS in Vancouver! OUCH!

Bob and our friend Kenny are sitting here with me, watching swamp people... and Kenny is telling Bob all about gator fishing in FL when he was younger. They just got back a little while ago from a car show. They had the old Apache truck there... They rode their motorcycles over and Kennys died AT the parking lot at the Bass Pro Shop at the Patriots stadium where the show was...LOL... Bob came home alone... picked up the truck and trailer and went back to get the bike. They are supposed to go to Laconia Sat for one day of bike week... Kenny was GRUMPY about the bike till they found this show on tv. Now he's smiling.... Boys... easily distracted! Kenny and Bob love that Apple Pie stuff too. Kenny wife Beki in in the family that owns "the Big Apple" which is the local orchard and they make LOTS of Apple Pie... Yuck! LOL... Not my style!
Sweet corn... Got a new little corn patch on our st. this yr in last yrs pumpkin fields(Big Apple land)... the coon will be HAPPY there.
Got our Primos cam back today! BUT... it's a new one, I guess the old one really was fried! Hope the baby coons decide to play on the marshmellow trees. The 4 babies are doing well and last night they and 2 skunks and a possum and momma and another adult were all at the dencam. BUSY little things....
Have a good night everyone! Heather

Lyle sounds like Va lots of flounder but all smaller than the limit
Slough sounds like you did bring some home for the grill, great!

Corky i think Bond and I may head to Backcreek Saturday night and see if Bond can get another Nite Champion win on Willow

Heather congrad's on the Bruins, those Candians seems to take their sports a little to serious

Good Morning!

WOW... I'm getting on here in the MORNING! lol... It's Raining here. Looks like we'll get a soaking for the morning anyhow. Wish I had run out first thing to see how many cam pix we got .... in hopes of some good baby coon pix If I ever get my lazy brain in order... I do have some good ones from the den cam... even though it's not as good a cam it does it's job.
GO BRUINS! lol... Since Bob and Kenny wont get to ride the bikes up to Laconia to do biker stuff on Sat... there is a chance they may go to the Bruins "rolling rally" in Boston. They can park at my Mums house and take the trolley to a good place to see the Bruins on the duck boats...Bob would be thrilled. He was a little tyke last Boston Stanley cup and Kenny was negative 8 yrs old....lol

Slough... I'm trying to blow our rain your way!

Have a Good MORNING All! Heather

Hey Corky etc...

.... At some point I'll get some of the pix off the new cam on here.... I'm working on some tweaks first though... seeing what setting works and if THIS cam is working 100%... I have gotten a bunch of new pix at the den cam... and Bob got some pix today of the Bruins Stanley Cup Parade in Boston. He had a great time. I'm hoping next week I'll get to my backload of pix... get em onto photobucket. I've been slacking BIGTIME!

NOW... Since this IS a Sweet Tea thread... lol... Kenny brought home a bottle of Carolina Sweet tea this PM... Hmm I took a whiff before he and Bob made some mixed drinks for themselves... IT smells a LOT like Bobs homemade Krupnik! I can surely smell the tea in it... They are having it with some lemonade. I have to admit I took a sip and was amazed I like it. Not much of an alcoholic beverage person. I do like an amarretto on the rocks at times... but I'd have that sweet tea with lemonade... if it was not too strong.
Rain... Slough... sending it your way! I'll do a raindance !!

HappyHunting! Heather

We would have to put up safety fences to keep the dawgs off the road!

I may have forgotten to tell youall but Bob walked in to the tack room after hearing a noise while walking thru barn with Webster a couple nights ago.... Baby coons all over trying to hide etc. Hearing him tell the story makes you grin.... He says right now they are about the size of our cats who are less hairy and 10 lbs. I wanted to go out to the barn last night but was so full of food I couldn't walk that far....lol...
Bob told me this morning no one ran off with the new food bowls but they DID manage to tip one of the UNtippables! LOL... BRATS.....
Oh, and we had another bear sighting in a town nearby. BEAUTIFUL 100lb male black bear(I usually think they are UGLY and SCARY!)... they got some NICE pix of it in a tree. They ended up leaving it to wander off instead of tranq. it to remove....It seemed harmless and calm. It CAN stay there though... I'll look at pix from afar OR I'll have to get one of you REDBONE dudes to send one of those TRASHY dawgs here for me to borrow....Only prob. is I have a real thing for redbone females... so she may not get sent home LOL...
Have a great day and I MIGHT work on pix again today. I have to say I'm a bit weary this morning.... so I might not? We'll see...... Heather

Mornin,

Great pics Heather!!

We got 4 tenths friday night and nothing but hot, hot weather in the forecast. The humidity is startinting to get back up to where it should be ( hot and muggy ). Maybe summertime thundershowers will start popping up around.

Having to fill up the waterers twice a week now instead of once. Pumping water into the pond also.

Thanks James!

REALLY hoping you get more rain than that...

Just now got thru all the game cam pix! I'm exhausted. Had a big yote at the den cam....then the litter of kits.... then the yote... pretty cool to see the babies notice the yote and LEAVE and come back etc... NATURE!

I'll post some pix in a bit.... Unless I doze off first! LOL

Heather

DenCam Pix

The reason we call it the dencam BTW is cause last yr the skunks would come out of a den hole in the ground beyond the feeders. This yr it is gone.... but the feeders still attract critters!

Here is the yote....

In the last picture the yote is looking at the marshmellow tree where the kits were feeding.... Then it leaves and they come to feed here... see next post!

Sensing danger....

AND reacting....

Have a Great night! Hope you have NO YOTES hear your trees! HappyHunting Heather

Posted by wbond on 06-21-2011 04:35 AM:

Heather the yote looks like it as been eating well if he was at my house I would feed him a punkin ball lol but they are some pretty cool pictures maybe I could get scotty to beam me and the rest of the cast up there to score some plus looks like you would be good for at least one score or maybe a hot yote race
