Good evening. It got into the upper 60's today. Beautiful night here. 52 and clear. I even managed to tree a coon with the young dog tonight.

Well I took Rachael went to Bland to the night got bet like a step child by a walker had Strom with me when I got back to the clubhouse I said well I will make a couple of drops on the way home I used to do this a lot when I was younger at 5:30 this morning when I got back to the truck I said dang I sure an't as tuff as I used to be a man told me once you have know your limitations well I have many more now as I get older but there is one thing remains the same I still pay them no mind oh well rest up and try it again tonight

Well a good night to be out not a bad hunt I don't guess with a 1 year old and a 9 month old but I have had better and yes Corky I need one of them date monkeys my daughter went to her first High School Prom tonight

Good evening gang,
Haven not got to hunt much the past month due to work schedule however I did make it with two boys up to the Va state youth hunt.
Justin took a line win in his heat on the field trial with Buster. Then he decided to put Sis in the barking contest. I thought this could be fun since I have just had her about a month. Well she stood up there like a picture and got 61 barks in 30 seconds. Enough to take home first in it. The hunt went as well as to be expected. She got hung up in a woven wire fence( I think) and started barking so Justin slammed the tree on her. About 3 minutes later she shut up and came on back. Tough break there. Last drop one dog split nothing up it. Justin took third strike and second tree on his with another English hound. They had the groceries. I think him and her will make a good pair once they get to hunting regular. Hopefully after this week I will be back on days for a while.

Hi THere!

Prayers to all and thanks for ours! Bob's hand is doing quite well. THe Dr laughed at the Metal Fragments... he had a lil splinter in a finger the Dr wouldnt touch...but he had injured tendons in his hand... It is still swollen but less sore. Same with my ankle basically. It's a decent sprain...so it'll be a while before I'm a hundred percent... I was stupid the first couple days..then REALLY careful after that. I was good at mums too so it's not too bad. Going down stairs hurts. Being on my feet too long hurts... Sofa time with elevation helps.
GORGEOUS out here today. Sixties and sun after a TON of overnight rain. FLowers here and there the DEER ate my tulips! LOL... Grrrrr..... ALL of them! Bob worked outside too much pulling up prickerbushes and he managed to take out my BEST black raspberries...and burn them... He didn't realize that I was planning to MOVE them along with some red rasp. and purple. The RED were saved! lol... Still have some good black rasp. out back.... and I'm sure more will show up over time too.... He SHOULD have rested his hand!

NICE PROM gown! Purty gal and the boy looks like a nice one....hope he remains that way!
OH! RIchard, Elizabeth and baby Hannah spent the week in Chattanooga TN and secured an apartment there! I think they will move in JUNE! We see them rarely anyway since they're an hour away so... we will LIVE but.... Hannah was sad she saw LOTS of cows on the drive down by few Horsies! LOL... She is going to cost her parents a fortune! lol... I hope she never finds out her lil Daddy got a VERY special real li ve pony for HIS second Bday.... we will give her a rocking horsie for hers.... SOme day when she sees pix of lil Ricky as a 2 yr old on Pandy the white pony... she will be MAD! lol....
