HAPPY BIRTHDAY

To Mrs Crowder! Here's to MANY more!!!!!

SO... I got some more pix for Y'all... but not from the game cam. We did get the odd couple again last night but no worthy pix. Just sitting here now...been a long day and I'm just sitting at the comp. Bob took Web out for his last time before bed... he came back in and dumped Web off mumbling about needing the camera... and went back out. SO... Here are the pix with story to follow too.... He done GOOD!

The pix will be out of order to tell the story...
Bob is coming in with Web and hears noise up in the hayloft and looks up and sees this(only there were 4 there originally... so he comes in to get cam...this is actually his LAST picture).... BUT.. use imagination here...

After getting the camera...He climbs up the hayloft ladder looking straight into the loft and sees this... Awe.... Snaps a pic....

then he hears a slight noise right next to his head(he is still on the ladder peeking up thru the openeing to the loft) and... he sees this(this is zoomed OUT all the way... He is about 2 feet at most from the subjects.... lol...

They are too shocked to react! but then they do...LOL...
HELP! HIDE ME!!!!!!

OH GOOD... that scary monster is going back down.. We're SAFE! Momma was well hidden...Bob is lucky SHE was not at the ladder top!!!!

WILL DO! I bet those wouldn't have been quite as good if he had realised those 2 babies were RIGHT there! They were VERY curious and not as shy as he'd expected... tehn again our scent is where there food is... in the tack room and hayloft the food and water is put there for the feral cats (ha ha... mostly for the coons)... and out back they get there marshmellow treats from my hands

SO CUTE! lol... My poor neighbor who grows a teeny tiny plot of corn probably HATES them....

Since we have so little land left nearby MOST of us appreciate any of the critters. Even the yotes... IF they don't get too bold. We'd prefer the critters over the druggie kids who may party out in our lovely conservation land.... BIG TIME!

PS... I HATE that I don't get bloodlines any more... I decided about a yr ago I couldn't afford it... and since then I've HEARD about all sorts of covers, pix and articles I'd love...

Go FIgure! BUT... congrats on ANY of you guys who make it in there... and I'd LOVE to see the Moose cover!!! NICE DAWG for sure... been fun to follow him since he was a wee bitty thing....

Hey There!

Hot here today... sticky yucky gross... so I was inside and missed the 2 F16s that flew over head... Sure heard and felt em! Lucky Bob! Musta been going from one Memorial day thing to another.....

Bob and Kenny broke down and got the ACs in today. I need the ac for my breathing... HATE to lose out on the fresh air so soon!

No good baby coon pix today but they were very active in the hayloft... BIG MESS! lol.. and then they hit the den cam feeders in the wee hours of this morning... they were very cute but the pix were not good. The odd couple and a possum made appearances as well.... lol...

That was MY excitement for the day... Have a GREAT night!

Morn'n, no rain and none in the forecast. Gona be a super hot one, probably see the triple digits before the weekend. Started filling up the water troughs in the woods yesterday, all the water is gone in the Slough. Been pumping water in the pond at $4 a gallon for desiel, the animals better appreciate it.

Great pics Heather, Bob did good.

Doing a Raindance for the Slough!!! Hate to hear about the droughts etc... poor critters, nice you give them water!!

Thanks on the pix that Bob got! He DID do good! I think I might keep him!!!

Didn't need AC here today. Got to the low 80s but... not so bad!

WBond... Bob esp. liked the Obama letter. I've met PM Netanyahu. He was not that high up in Govt. at that time. Woulda been 1972 or 73... in Israel on a medical meeting trip with my parents. We had a dinner with the president and there is a GREAT picture of me a tiny 12 or13 yr old girl shaking hands with Moshe Dayan, who must have been Minister of defense at this point, just before the 1973 wars. Even I knew who HE was, with his familiar eye patch.... I Hated history and current events...but never forget a face. Anyway... One of those weird and cool times in my life. I was very sick while we were there... and did NOT get to see the Holy lands etc... that I wanted to.... It was a really scary place to be for me...so different from the USA... Lands so used to the wars... Sad.

Well, Hope you all have a great night and some rain where it's needed, sun where it's needed etc....

I am messed up tonight. I got a started dog in the box to try and catch the one coon (could tell by the track) that tore down two 100 feet rows of sweetcorn over the weekend while I was gone. My mamma and her siiter sit on the porch in the afternoon and saw this coon coming out of a hollow 100 feet in front of her front door.

That limb got her car and my truck but the hollow above my truck is now the residence of that coon.

He got no reason to come back to the corn patch tonight cause he got it all already. But I got another crop comming on next week I bet he won't get.

I'm messed up tonight because I quit when the gators come out. I quit cold turkey and have withdrawals through March. Then I'm over it. I put the dogs on mothballs and don't get the bug till fall when the gators go in. Happens every year. I hope I don't have a relapse, I don't care for summer coonhunting. Well, I'm fixing to turn Red out ( a red Leopard Hound pup).

its about as bad as i have seen it here in southeast GA. Had no rain to speak of in so long, no one would remember what a rain storm looks like. maybe with the hurricane season now in, we can get some rain off one of those things, as long as it stays well out to sea and doesn't cause any damages. Last few years it seems that is the only way we get the rain we need. It is bad dry down here right now, and no relief in site. Even the snakes are hunting water in masses. Find the water, find the snakes, and then do some target practice. lol

The one thing that has suprised me is that I have yet to any snakes or gators at the pond. My neighbor did kill a 7 foot sow gator last week at his pond. She was still full of eggs.

Hey Guys!

And gals... Been waiting out tornado warnings here! Not very common.... Everything has swung above or below us so far, the bad storms... with the real tornados have gone North of us. We are miles away from any damage. Not much rain even.... still in a watch and some severe thumnderstorm warnings... but not so bad.
There WERE fatalities around the Springfield MA area. Not sure were else but that area and a few more in MA have a LOT of damage. State is in state of emergency. We will be praying for all effected!!!

It is sort of nice out right now, we have the windows open and the nice fresh air is coming in as we watch the Bruins game(interupted by Weather stuff....). Thunder in the distance.
Had the little cur dawg for the day... She and Webster had a blast. It had been a while since they had played together.. SHE was tired out! LOL... LUCKILY the bad weather came late in the day when I had people home with me.
OK... back to a quick browse on here and watching the game!
Hoping you guys who need rain GET some... some good steady moderate rain....
