Goodmorning all, I wish I could say the cats away the mouse will play but have things to do! Hope you get to come up saturday Mike so you can meet the guys. What did you guys do with Chuck? Mike I used the vinegar salt and soap to spray around my yard really worked well. It smelled like vinegar that day but smelled better than commercial weed killer and less harmful. No more new babies and first three were out yesterday kicking up their heals. The yard dog thinks they are her's she goes with me to feed everyday now to check them out and even goes down to check them out when I'm not there. When the mom was having them she never left my side. Have a good one heat is coming tomorrow. Linda

Linda, I also used the sait and vinager strangles thing I sprayed by my chicken pen now my hens are laying pickled eggs but it works on weeds

Never thought about that one good idea. One problem I don't have any chickens. My Oldest son likes dill pickles so he will boil some eggs and put them in the juice after pickles are gone and calls them pickled eggs. Off to mow. If it doesn't rain here pretty soon won't be doing much of that. Linda

Won't say nothin' to no one Chuck. Good huntin' & fun Mike. Well I know you fellers have heard 'em all so here go's-----on the last spot of the day I was checkin' out my tackle box,had the pole in for about10 mins. not payin' attention and bang moby dick hits, I hear the pole rattlin' on the side of the boat and good bye everything hook line sinker rod&reel over the side. The dang thing was even wedged against the live box,the guy I was with said that was the catch of the day. We still caught some nice fish and had a good time. Pictures later.

That was one big fish story. I heard that one all ready. Tell me one I don't know.

How did your hunt go Mike? I wish it was a "story" but it did happen that way not so much that I didn't get the whopper,it's that me & that pole had caught a many of fish. Sure is ah warmin' up here.

Rise&shine you sleepy heads. Git er done before it gets too hot.

Been up since 5:30AM. Turkeys are really calling this morning. Four different ones. Bill I did not go back to Tilden. I was pleasure hunting. I am going to have to watch the hunt dates more closely than I am. TD we treed one and turned loose from the tree and Deacon went over 3/4 mile and never hit another one. We picked him up in a creek. He was taking a bath. Just laying in the water. It was hot. I hope he can take the hot weather. Jason came over yesterday evening and we bush hog my pasture. The fescue was up to my neck. Looks a lot nicer now.

Our only chance of rain is tonite,and after that they ain't givin' any. That dog was thirsty Mike. Them bushhogs make short time of what ever get's in their way for sure. I didn't go to our club last nite,so good thing you never came up.

We got a sprinkle this afternoon---but now it's rainin' big time and cool wind YAA!!!!!!! Kid said he seen 3 coons tonite on the way home.

i got barely enough rain to lay the dust..

We got enough of rain to water the grass. If you stood under a tree you would not have gotten wet. We have got three hunts to go this week. Going to be a busy week. Weather says by Sunday we will hit 100degrees.

We got a 1/2 inch better than nothing. Cool at the beginning of the week but hot by weekend. Have 2 more babies 1 doe 1 buck. 2 more mom's to go hope they have them before it gets hot again.

Charlestom Hunt

8 on bench and Hunted 13 dogs. Several good score 525, 450 ect. Everything went well and BBQ pork was good.

Jeff was that open dogs or champions. We have two hunts at Oraville Coon Club this week. One pkc and One UKC Friday night then we are going to Sesser and hunt in the Rend lake Classic.
