Matt was the one that didn't roll over at Kansas. And Joey took him out because he was his biggest competition. All the kenseth fans have already digested that outcome. Now,if joey doesn't get to go to homestead, was it worth taking kenseth out after Joey had already advanced to the next round. I loved the look on joeys face after he got out of his car.joey has the fastest car right now so all he has to do is get a win in one of the next two and dream about that 20 car in his sleep. So Joey made his bed at Kansas now he has to sleep in it.

SUSPENDED

NASCAR made one more dumb decision. They SUSPENDED Matt Kenseth, and I agree that he needed it but whats stupid is they did it for 2 races and there is 3 left. So he will race in Homestead, Miami. They should have cut him loose for the rest of this year or not done anything at all.

My 2 cents.......

Logano chose to dump Kenseth at Kansas. Didn't have to, had a faster car, could have backed off and made another run at him and passed him. Chose to dump him and in the process made an enemy. Not really great forward thinking. He was already in the Chase, didn't NEED to make an enemy.

After that Brian France says, "Racing is a contact sport. That's just racing." then goes on to almost compliment Joey with something like, "It was actually a good strategy to eliminate a potential challenger for the championship".

Talledaga. Kenseth perceives another "poke in the eye" when Joey brake checks him or chops him coming into the pits. (I don't know if he did or not. Doesn't matter, Matt felt he did.)

Martinsville. Kenseth races Joey clean most of the day, raced him hard, but didn't dump him. Joey and Brad were working together and playing games and jamming up the restarts. During one of those restarts Matt got wrecked by their shenanigans. (so did Kurt Busch)

I think that was the final straw. He had had enough of Joey and Brad and just snapped.

I think it's complete BS that Matt got parked. Especially since Brian France basically condoned it a couple weeks earlier. I guarantee that penalty/suspension or not that Matt and Joey wouldn't have touched each other the rest of the year just from all of the media hype over the M'ville deal.

Joey put Matt in a "must win" situation at Talladega. Matt put Joey in a "must win" situation with 2 races to go. Seems like things balanced out fairly even...............

(actually Joey is in a better situation than Matt. 2 chances to win and neither is Talladega.)

Gordon dumped Clint a few years ago at Arizona when Clint was a title contender. Newman moved Larson last year to advance. There is probably dozens of similar situations.

Kyle Busch said one thing correct (rare). "Nascar is consistently inconsistent."

Nascar/France and others have lost control and creditability for this so called sport. They wanted this and now its spinning out of control. Sometimes I swear the media darlins even the ex driver's are being told to be on Big Brother Nascar's side. I applaud Ricky Craven (did I just say that? ) for being the only one to call out Nascar on it. I wish it could go back to the early 90's of when racing was fun to watch with Davey Allison and Alan Kulwicki.

WINNER!!!!!

Jimmie Johnson gets the WIN!!!!! Snatched the Victory away from Bad Brad with a few laps to go after Brad had led most of the day. Good, Hard, Clean Racing between those two with 14 laps to go. Brad in the Chase but needing a win to advance to the final 4 in Miami. Jimmie not in the Chase but racing to win. The looser today was GOODYEAR. About 10 Cautions and most all was from Tires coming apart. Can't believe they bring that junk to any race much less a Chase race but it worked to take Logano out early when his left rear shredded. Now him and Brad Both need win next week to advance but my money is on Harvick.

RACE WEEKEND!!

Mason and I bolted the Jimmie Johnson Flags to our dog box for one last road trip to Miami for the Championship Weekend. We leave out on Sunday for Destin for a couple days then to Orlando to Disney Magic Kingdom then on to Miami. He is soo excited to be going and I'm happy when he's happy but at same time I'm like a lot of race fans that are sick of NASCAR and all the rule changes, not just every year but race to race. Banning the Confederate Flag in the infield, then the crappy move by Harvick and Kenseth that changes the Chase completely. Mason will not here me talk negative about it all as we are going for him and to have a great time but my money will NOT support Nascar after this trip. Sad to see this great sport change so much so fast in the past 3 years.

WINNER!!!!

Congrats to Kyle Bush on winning the race AND the 2015 NASCAR CHAMPIONSHIP!! After missing the first 11 races he came back and won his way and earned the right to compete for the Championship and he got the job done. So glad he beat Harvick!! This will be my last post on this Thread and I have truly enjoyed all of yaw's predictions and opinions race to race. Its a shame the mess Management has made of a once great sport. Decisions and changes they made this year has pushed me away from the sport and I will no longer be going to races or watching races on TV. My time and money will be used to enjoy traveling a little more each year with my hounds and hunting in different places. Take Care and Good Hunting!
