you may have to take a video of scooter next time we go...my phone will record it but wont send it and I don't know how to fix it to were it will...I was proud of him...last night laying drags and hunting him on the creek bank was the best hunt ive had in a good while...its time to start coming up with a plan as far as were I want my breeding to go...I can say this scooter impressed me last night...come down one day early and we will work these pups... and you watch him...I may be but o don't think I am stretchin it when I say he is impressive treedog for any dog much less 7 months old

when a man keeps 3 pups out of the same litter he is usually gonna sell or cull one or two but all three of yours and all three of mine are just coming on so strong .cy treed a den the other night.louie was checking trees and hunting real good and hank at one time was 455 yards from any body or any dog last time i took him and done real good on the second drag i ever showed him.

I might get to go this weekend..i just broke the axle in my dumptruck...moving to a job..got several jobs to do and gona make some side cash and something like that happens...whew..i tell you if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any..just put a clutch and mains in the truck last yr...frustrating for sure...but im ready to hunt when you are...scooter got me motivated alil bit..i know he is young..but he has the pedigree and the mouth and tree power and the hustle..now its on to see the hunt and the nose...he should have a good solid nose I believe...if those to things pan out I will be lookin for a female to finish and maybe hook em up..thats the plan...

Would like to thank Jim Vanpelt for letting me have the opportunity to purchase one of his pups considering there where only three that made it out of what I consider was one of the best crosses made in a while , If you like junior bred hounds you will love these, Ringold Spud , jr blood up close and that will be what I call my pup SPUD jR, ANDERSON'S SPUD IN REMEBERENCE OF RINGOLD SPUD , which was a great reproducer that a lot of people never heard of , Just a country coondog that throwed coondogs .

Rodney as you know, I hunted for years with Walter Smith and Ringold Spud... 15 or so years after he passed away, he is still in my top 5 of best hounds I have ever been to the woods with. Can you post the pedigree of you pup would love to se ole' Spuds name on a pedigree again... He is the kind we should have breed more too years ago........

Travis you are right , those kind of hounds don't come around everyday and when this cross came up I knew I had to have one If it was possible , I just wished I new then what I know now but you live and you learn , better later than never I guess LOL. I had a gyp that I hunted out of Spud her name was Eli May , she was as nice as any that I've hunted with and she was one of those hounds you don't forget and would love to have the opportunity to own another just like her . Travis I see you have your hands full like me with these young dogs , those are some good looking hounds you have , maybe we will get to get a chance to cut them loose soon , always enjoy hunting with you and talking dogs .

Travis I will post ped soon , I just have Puppy Papers , he is out of Billy Wilks Eagle dog wich was direct out of Spud and the dam is a gyp that Jim Vanpelt has witch goes back to Zeke I think , I'll see if I can find his post where he had the ped on his tread under puppies forsale.

great lookin pup good head on him....I got me female pup cousin to scooter today..off winey and the tru grit dog..heavy redman fayards pearl rooster and sheppard and johnsons duke...she is all white and has a dark mask around her eyes with a calico ear...seems to have a good mouth..pretty good actin pup..im gona go ahead and start folin with her with some coon hides and scent..she looks a lot like whiney..just like her actually ...lets hook em up soon..im getting the itch..

uh oh rodney i may have messed up cy caught a oppossum on the ground tonight and slung the guts out of it he trailed it about a hundred yards and boom killed it .i knew i was in trouble when i heard the ruckus and didnt hear a coon squalling ha ha

Bryan that female is full of vinegar she may be the best one yet , that pup that I have that goes back to spud has to have one of the loudest mouths on a pup that I have ever heard , you talking about a horn , he's going to have one . I just about got the yota going , I will hunt the hair of them when I do get it going.
