-- who is ready for football !!!!!!!!!!!! (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928263272)
I'm ready to see if Johnny Football will live up to the hype of giving Bama trouble. I think he will play better than he did vs. LSU because of the experience but think BAMA will still shut him down.
quote:Who ever beats Bama will have to have a rabbit in their hat ,,,lol ,,No Bama is just flat out better than just about any team out there, But any of them can be beat on any given day or so they say ,lol.

I'm gonna give picking the winners a shot.
Bama over A&M
Kansas State over TCU if Klein plays, if not I think TCU pulls the upset
Oregon over Cal
ND over BC
UGA over Auburn
UF over ULL
LSU over Miss State
USC over Ark
Syracuse over Louisville(going out on a limb)
Stanford over Or State
Okla over Baylor
Clemson over Maryland
Penn St over Nebraska (O'brien is doing a great job)
Texas over Iowa State
UCLA over Washington State
USC over Arizona State
La Tech over Texas State
Texas Tech over Kansas
Rutgers over Army
Mich over Northwestern
I'll second what you say about K State and TCU also the Syracuse and Louisville,, The Orangemen have always pulled the rabbit out of the hat on several teams .
Tide is getting ROLLED!!!!!!
as bad as i hate it the tide got rolled

Make for an interesting shakeup in the polls,, Like Forest Gump said Life is like box of chocolates,Ya never know what your gonna get .
whoa tide whoa!
have to give a hats off to bama as they have played 2 nail biter games back to back. they are still one of the top teams in the country. I dont think bama's defense is as strong as what they have had in the past few years but sabans way of coaching will bring out the best in a player.
I believe they will still win the sec championship but will have to wait and see how the other undefeated teams finish out the rest of the season for the NC.

How 'bout those Aggies!!!
Adios,
Gary
Week End
Chuck don't see any games this week end that really interest me that much but will be watching most of the big boys are playing cup cakes and Texas is not playing. Texas has a least show some signs of playing some D the last couple of games. I see where the EERS have got the Sooners that will be a tough one. Aggies have played well but better not take Sam Houston for granted they got a good team for a D2 school but it should'nt be much of a game. Ricky Allen
Allen, one game that may be worth watching is La Tech vs Utah State, supposed to be defense vs. offense. Other than that about the only competitive game should be UCLA and USC and the raiders vs. the okie state cowboys.
Tech
Yea I plan on watching Tech another will be the Buckeyes & Badgers should be a good game. I just don't watch the West Coast Teams that much but the Ducks & Stanford could be a good game. Ricky Allen
I just don't think Stanford can keep up with Oregon. I wish they would though.

Johnny Football! The most dynamic player in college football.
Adios,
Gary Roberson
Wow, looks like Bama is back in the NC hunt.
Too bad that they gave Notre Dame the win against Stanford when Stanford actually scored the winning TD twice but they refused to give it to them.

Here, I'll save you a search on the last TD. Follow this link. It is very clear.
Foward progress had not been stopped, he very clearly reached the ball out over the goal line before he was down. No question about it.
Then he dropped the ball, but if you want to say he fumbled look no further than the Stanford offensive lineman that recovered the fumble one yard deep in the endzone.
Either way it's a TD for Stanford if called correctly.

Here's another one with the NFL officials actually saying it was clearly a touchdown.

Now I was wrong though in that I was thinking it was for the win, it was not. It was for the tie and another overtime. No way to know who would have one.
The only thing we DO know is that the officials got it wrong, whether intentionally or not, and Stanford did not get what they deserved.

"This is what Mike Pereira, former Vice President of Officiating for the NFL and current Rules Analyst for FOX Sports, initially had to say about the play.
Mike Pereira ✔@MikePereira We have looked at ND/STA last play from every angle & feel that it is a TD. Progress was not ruled & runner was not down. Ball broke plain."
That's not me, that's the former NFL vice president of officiating. I would think he knows football rules. It was clearly a touchdown.
Here's the link to the article, complete with the video showing he scored touchdown.
