Looking forward to getting him up here but will be nice to keep him down there for awhile to get a few more bred. Thanks to Darren and the hunters that have put his pups in the woods. Some good crosses made and hopefully more to come. Wanting to make this cross when he gets back north.

good to hear that they are coming along good.

May have put together a deal with a breeding on Uncle Pen and a female bred like Ricks Belle female down at the Reunion this weekend. We will see how it all pans out.

Had a good time down at the hunts in Brazil, Indiana this weekend. Hunted all three nights with my 1 year old Creek female. She kept me in it until the last drop all three nights. Could not get it done the first two but squeeked out a cast win last night. She had 350 plus but also had some minus. Got a fifth with her in her first bigger hunt. I'll take it.

Thanks guys, Timing is everything when your hunting a female. Creek just started to come into heat today. That means she should be ready to go by Bluetick days.

That coming in heat is the drawback to hunting these females for sure. Get them really clicking and "BAM", Come in heat!! LOL Good luck with her in the future hunts.

I'm on pins and needles just hoping that these females come on in heat before Logan gets gone back to Wisconsin. Dolly is due in any time and another gentleman has a heavy smokey river gyp that he is wanting to breed. Keeping my fingers crossed,

Missed the Reunion due to work and it looks like I wont be able to get off for Bluetick days either. I hope to get to AO this year, it's been a few years since I made it to AO.

Thanks. She is a good looker, I just put another Ch and best of show win on her last weekend. I ended up showing against my registered female for the best of show. I gave a 10 year old kid $5 to show Herbie against me and he beat me with her. The kid went home with 5 bucks in his pocket, a trophy, and a smile on his face. Hopefully he will try a blue dog when he gets older.

I have hunted with Dixie since she was 6 mths old. She was a natural pup from day one. She treed her own coon at 7 mths old and it was not a bucket coon. She trailed a coon over 600 yds and stayed treed on it for at least 25 minutes before we got to her. She has been in one hunt and treed a possum right off the start and couldn't recover. She is a hard, classy, up on the wood , chop mouth tree dog. She will be in the hunts as soon as the pups are weaned and already has 2 best of shows. Trent is going to try to at least dual Ch her. I am excited about this cross. Lot's of old Uchtman with a shot of Jet V and Sparetime Spanky. Lot's of winning blood in these pups!!
