We needed just a smidge of that luck thing. "Bum" had the cast won with +850 & put a coon in only to check in & take first strike minus & lost the cast with ten minute's left.

I alway's figured we pleasure hunt way more than we competition hunt, the way the ball bounce's. It was a fun cast to be along on though. They was a jammin some coon & had a four male dog cast. "Bum" had every first tree & all plused if my memory is rite?

Don't put much stake in that memory & me thing though....LOL!!

825 he had I didn't want ot minus him but I had to.Thats the way it goes was heck of a good night tight between bum and the walker dog right up to the end they both looked good.

LOL I'm 90% sure I'm coming, however, at this point I don't know if I'll hunt or not. A night of pleasure hunting might do my dog more good than a comp hunt. I've got a TW female that I sold earlier in the year that I've got at my place for a bit, she has 95 pts towards CH so I'd like to finish her off. I also have a 7 mo old Redbone male that I want to put on the bench. We'll see how this week goes as far as the hunting dept and I'll make a decision on whether or not I want to donate my entry fee or not....

Appreciate it... Another thing is that my 1 yo daughter will prolly be tagging along (she likes "puppies"!!!!) We'll see how it goes, he went deep last night and had 3 kits in 1 tree, so who knows, maybe a blind squirrel could find a nut???

I wanna hunt as much as possible this week, but tonight is looking like I might get blown away!!!

YUP!!!

I'm itchin to get my 7 mo old out... Left him home last night, and of course had the perfect scenario for a pup. I don't mind a breeze, but when it comes to wind, i'd rather hunt in a rainstorm. I HATE WIND!!! Never had any luck in the wind other than losing dogs, been good for that I guess...

not trying to hi-jack russ' thread, but he can get in on this too if he wants to! we could open up an indoor coonhunting grounds, they are putting waterparks indoors, so why not tree some coon indoors, no wind to worry about then, heck no roads either!lol
