Very nice pics of Dan and Chief, Carl. Glad to see you got everything figured out on how to post them. The bottom picture of Chief almost makes your eardrums ring just looking at it - gotta love that horn! Keep up the good work with them.

Yes Ann you thought they were loud as puppy's. They definitely hurt's your ear's now. Especially when he like's to bark in your ear's. But i should be able to hear them.

Nope, Jay. Abram was a good boy this year so Santa brought him a Redbone, not a Bluetick!

Here's an update we received the other day on Kenny Deal's Reb, a 11 month old pup out of Maggie X Rip:

"Thanks for letting me come down and hunting with you I had a blast. Just thought i'd give you an update on Reb. The week after I hunted with you I took reb out hunting i cut him loose in a corn field and he went probably went 100 yards and got struck the coon made two big circles in the corn field and on the second circle I heard the coon run past me. The coon was so close to me reb just about ran into me (probably 10 feet away) he ran it into a junk pile so I pulled him out and as I was walking I seen a set of eyes in the trees so I cut him loose again and he ran into the tree and started treeing on the tree the coon was in so I shot it out to him and he was all over it. I think there was multiple coon in the field and he hit a short track to the tree. I have never seen a dog that young push a track that fast in my life he was probably only 35 yards behind the coon when it came past me!!!

Scott the video was sweet had a great chuckle! Carl awesome pics soon we'll have warm weather when I have off so we can shoot a couple squirrels. Ann and Aubrey thanks for the pics of the kids. I told Kristy about the recipe. She cooks like her father alittle of this and alittle of that. She comes up with some great tasting stuff and doesn't remember the exact recipe.

Fired up tonight for a drop. Hit one of the rivers here. First tree was a den. Score it. I could see steam rolling out of it. Had the camera. I got a vid of them treeing off in the distance. Then it froze up. Bummer.
Next tree. Same thing a den. Circle it. We went further, but nothing was going on. so I got them turned back. We were getting close to the first den and I could see them milling around it. So I waited and I see Tater shoot off across the marsh bottom along the tree line. JJ stayed and milled.
Then I heard Tater throw his locate and rolled it over into his tree chop. Hot nosed JJ still a milling. I walked around her and got to Tater. He had the meat. JJ then came rolling in to do a little me
to-ing. Treeing on it half heartedly. Tied her back and let Tater chew it up.
Called it a night.
Big warm up coming next weekend. Are you all ready for the rut. We are.
A Red Fever hide competition. See who can harvest the most with there Red Fever dog. Starting say Thursday night with Sun. night being the last
Anybody game?

Didn't think they'd hold up. I'm going to look at and try on some Muck snake boots this week. Did get my insulated Dan's chaps. Wore them for the first time last night. Loved them. I was roasty toasty. LOL

Warm up temps coming? Did you get a bit of brain freeze while you were out in subzero temps, Scott? It was like -17 last night!!! Glad to hear Tater got a coon though! We loved the video. Looks like if you're going to have a contest it should START next Sunday, when it's at least in the teens at night. I'll give you this, Aubrey is crazy about coonhunting, but I think going out in 0 degree weather is probably stretching it even for him..........never know though I guess?

I was home by 7:30 last night. Went out at 4. JJ and Tater did nothing but run around and chase each other for the first half hour. They had a lot of energy stored up.
It was a whopping 0 degree's when I got home.
Supposed to be 20 on Thur. T-shirt weather. LOL
I guess it's going to a easy win for me.
The cold fried my last hunting camera. Going to have to use the good one til I get a replacement. That's ok. It didn't owe me nothing.

We went squirrel hunting saturday and it was -10 and i had ice hanging a half inch off my beard and Brandon's eyelids were freezing shut. So anyway it has to be alot warmer down south lol. But a hunt sounds like fun but it has warm up alot.

Did one drop with JJ and Tater. Released them at 6:45 into some corn along the river. JJ struck right away. Tater soon followed. FAST moving track. Gave JJ an E-collar bump and she didn't budge off of it. Then they hit the river. The chase was on. I finally caught up to them. DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. I've never been on that far on a walk before. LOL Might have been out your back door Aub.
Walking in thought for sure it would be a den. There they were. Two of them lil guys waiting to meet the Ruger. Tater got tore up by the first one. Him and JJ were giving it to it. The other one was on the move from tree to tree. He finally me the Ruger.
Got back to the Jeep at 9:30. DEEEEEEEEEEP.
I'll post piks soon.
