100% DEET

Guys, 100% DEET is a pretty potent nerve toxin. If you were to apply that every two hours and hunt 3-4 nights a week, you would have serious damage to your nervous system and liver. Used to be popular with mine prospectors in Canada and Alaska. Many ended up with tremors and liver damage (heavy alcohol use didn't help!) and it can end up destroying brain cells. Use sparingly! Shower thoroughly when you get home. You're safer smoking heavily than using that stuff generously...
Wear a long-sleeved shirt and keep moving. Don't use perfume-y soaps or deoderants. I use citronella oil on my face and hands.
