In other words, it did not take him long, to get treed, with the meat.
Yes sir ! Those kind are hard to find and a lot of people wouldn't like them if they had one. But I'm like you , that's my kind of coonhound !!!!!!!!

My type exactly and I don;t want him to get over 350-400 yrds then check back if not struck. Fun to listen to and have the coon at the end of the race. I always hunt alone so if one backs the other is fine with me if I had multiple dogs together.

BTW I am always looking for one just like that.

Mr. Bockelman I have had the type of hound that goes hunting and can work a hot or cold track in the past and what I have now. I've had this line of hounds sense 1977 they tree coons. Your subject will challenge those who don't know what a coondog is. Thank you for sharing the truth. Roll Tide. Gene Houston

Track dogs r a must this time of year here in Michigan.....
Especially hunting state ground that's been hunted hard .
Nothing worst than a treed dog 1-2 miles deep that's slick.....no thanks .....u can keep it until the leaves hide it's fault....then you'll have a winner...lol

I guarantee that dog won't be back ....up here not this time of year.
Ruttn boars ,checking dens, and u gotta dog with brains to keep trailing until it parks it on the outside.....throwing that locate that'll send chills up ur back .....that's priceless to me .
