Episode 24 of the UKC Hunting Ops Podcast dropped today and is all about rule and procedure changes going into effect for the 2023 Official Coonhound Rulebook. In this episode Allen and I break down the following rule and procedure changes:

- Dogs treeing but not declared treed
- Strike times
- Hearing a declared struck or treed hound open to recast
- Hunt directors hunting
- All dogs drawing out together in slams
- Implied scratch definition being added to Rulebook
- Full Elimination Format Events
- Years between rule changes getting extended

To hear the discussions about thermal imaging devices, and first offense warnings being removed for striking the wrong dog, and failing to strike your dog on or before the third bark, refer back to Episode 22.
