Lol. Coming from a cabbage patch kid that's an expert on mean dogs, that's a compliment. While I am no expert on anything, it does not take an expert to figure you out. You just want attention or someone to agree with you and get your panties in a wad when that does not happen. Grow up the world does not care about your take on a mean dog or anything for that matter, when you can make statements with facts, do so or else you are just expressing your one-sided opinion. It's wilted lettuce... ingredients
Plenty of leaf lettuce from the garden
Radishes sliced thin
Green onions chopped fine, if you don't have green onions use red sliced thin.
1/2 lb of bacon in 1" strips fried
To the bacon and grease add apple cider vinegar about 1/2 a cup, 1/4 cup of sugar and plenty of salt and pepper. Return to a boil to dissolve sugar and salt then pour over the lettuce toss and eat!
I don't boil my cabbage I fry in in the bacon & grease in a big iron skillet with salt pepper and a splash of vinegar. Cook until tender.
This heat is making y'all cranky! I'm starting to wonder which is meaner the dogs or the cantankerous old men!

Jen, my mother used to make that. She called it wilted lettuce and it was delicious. We only got it in the summer when we could pick fresh leaf lettuce and green onions out of our garden. I guess that I am a lettuce patch kid.

I won’t be on here in the morning it’s been raining a lot rivers up and I got my bait caught.
