What if I double up Jim and dilute the rest ? Half brother half sister ? Everyone I can keep in touch with are really liking there pups . Even converted a walker guy . They sure ain't scared of the water or dark . Really great report's on 5 month old pups . But only time will tell .

Rex is a Legend in the Coondog world. He has owned some of the very finest hounds. He was kind enough to let lots of folks breed to Jim and look at where those breedings took some folks, Lucas did an outstanding job putting out some fine hounds, if not for Lucas there wouldn't have been Jon Henry, Mandy2 and even Hammer. Lucas let me Have Hammers Sire and I got him to Wayne, I Got with Dale and got Hammers Dam (ghost x sister) and Wayne bred them and there was Hammer. I could go on and on about "good ones" Banjo3 x Hiedi was about the most well Balanced cross off B3, but folks don't talk about dogs like Goshen Moe, Amber, Bozo, 5 String, Sue etc. Lots of them. 😂

With all of that Rusty Red, you will have to breed her back to a Fireball. But I think that I would breed her to Pistol. He is out there in your part of the world.

Someone has to keep the Banjo stuff going.

How tight is too tight ? Double Jim Female bred back to B3 or Banjo himself ? Maybe I could get my hands on some twister semen and breed her to it then a female off that x back to B3 or Banjo ? Wonder how much percentage of Fireball that would give me ?

Banjo 3

I believe there was a double bred Banjo 3 pup at the super stakes. Goshen Moe and Banjo 3 & Freak

George, they don't have mountains in Western North Carolina and be careful what you ask for. You don't want to go hunting with Rex at his house.
Mark, you are right. Brent did hunt his pup at the S/S Mon night. I have heard that he it is a pretty nice pup.
Preston, it sounds like you used to have a pretty good team. It is a shame that they have all quit hunting except for Mark.

Richard I was over there round Tuckaseege . And I gotta tell ya if them wasn't mountains they was the biggest hills I ever seen . Either way I made it a mile up and back down out of shape in pretty decent time . I think I could get use to that kind of hunting . Though the thought of moving to a high coon population really peaks interest in me . Indiana might not be a bad idea then I could have a sure nuff coondog .

Your dog won't be any better, it will look better and you will think that you have a sure nuff coon dog. The hunting will be so easy you will also go more and think that you are a sure nuff coon hunter.

Richard

I definitely wouldn't want to be considered a sure nuff coon hunter or a breeder for that matter . Whole litter of pups are a pain in the @$$ to raise . I prefer to pleasure hunt tree one or not . But I do like a dog nice enough to compete . I'm definitely liking a deeper hunting dog . I am starting to get fat .

I am not talking about being considered that you are a shore enuff coon hunter. What I actually said was thinking that you were a shore enuff coon hunter. There is a difference. Guys that don't care if they are considered a shore enuff coon hunter still like to think that they are.
If you live where you can go out and tree 2 coons in 20 min, walk 200 yds or drive to the tree and then go home; you can think that you are a shore enuff coon hunter.

Lol gotcha I just coonhunt when I get a chance . But I could definitely see where if someone could make a couple quick drops it might could change things .

Hey George

George, Listen to Richard, he knows all about how to be a sure enough coonhunter. He comes up to Indiana and Illinois every now and again just to recharge his confidence in it.

Team Fireball

Well team Fireball. October might be good time to deliver some pups to National Redbone Days. That Pistol pup I have been trying to get will be here in another month. I think they are gonna be some good ones. They are gonna have Doc a bunch of times, some Banjo III and Jon Henry and some Ghost and Guitar. Some Twister and Rocky and a shot of Parkers Redbone Hills Hoss and some Woody and even a little shot of Sandy Creek Jake. There is also gonna be a whole bunch of great coon treeing gyps to go along with those great males.. This little gyp is the loudest redbone I have ever owned and that is saying a lot and she is a radical tree dog. She needs a little more time before I put her in a hunt but thought enough of her to get her bred to Pistol before something happens to her. I don't just breed a gyp to make a bunch of worthless pups and I could have bred some other gyps sooner. A lot of time and money and thought has went into this cross. I am really excited. Well the cats outta the bag. If I get time I will try and put some video on here. Lucas out.

Glad to see that you are excited. There is nothing like a good young dog with promise to get your blood boiling. Maybe you will have the first UKC World Champion right in your yard.
But can one person make up a Team? You are going to have to recruit a couple of amateurs or pay a couple of Pro's to join your team.
