Honestly if you know the hunter that has the dogs it helps a ton. You'll know what type of dog he leads regardless of titles. I've seen some pretty decent dogs never get taken to town because of various reasons whether it was do to work, or home situations or just don't like the hunts.

I see the same thing novicane65. To be honest I have a Lipper semen male dog that is one of the finest hounds around. I don't hunt many comp hunts but he is deadly accurate. Not extremely loud but is a every bark tree dog. Not many people know him because I don't pack hunt my hounds. I have dogs that are independent because I solo hunt. I know he will through some beautiful good dogs paired with the correct female.
