To bad our hounds can't have a similar discussion about their owners.
My guess is many might get kicked to the curb or hauled to the local swap your owner day. 😮

Well darn, do you mean Strickland won't haul Big Country out to your house when your female comes in heat? I bet that Jen will come to your house and pick your female up and then bring her back after she is bred.

You just copped out, you may owe someone a pup, but they most likely would have taken one out of Big Country without a fuss. Now Shack is a real good choice within the Walker Bloodlines, but Think what you may miss out on, could have been another Sambo in that litter, or maybe another Big Country Clone. Dave

That ain’t it !! bred her time before this found out the dog was sterile then this time drove and she was red hot and the dog humped her for 3 hrs everywhere but where he was supposed to so I went and got the stuff to AI her myself and when I drawed the stud there were no swimmers. I am just discouraged and I owe a buddy a pup and he has two out of shack that are naturals. It’s still a 5 hr drive for me to jens house.
There you go nosey lambert lol.
Tar
I honestly don't know how guys get a young dog, get it going well, then sell it, and repeat. Young dogs drive me crazy, but I am a bit hard headed and refuse to give up. It isn't until I see consistency that I begin to like a dog. The more consistent the more I like a dog.
Guess I don't fit either group, but then again my wife often tells me I am in a group all by myself. I don't think she means that as a good thing.

I enjoy your your posts, and agree with a lot of things you have to say. I dare say that you are a stand up guy that's well respected and a heck of a good coon hunter. Dave

I certainly see what mine does wrong. I'm not critical of a hound setting under a coon most of the time if they tree quick & often.

I don't know Tom and I and a few others have lots of fun , and we can never get our dogs to tree trash together , only on the nights we hunt by ourselves. LOL , Now I offered Tom $75 for a pup just to take him off his hands , but he sold him to somebody else. See you Monday night Tom , I will come to your house. S/FI!

Chuck Allen $75 was too much for that pup. See you Monday night.
