Who submitted the proposal to assign tree points and minus them? I don't remember seeing/reading that one. Maybe I just thought that it was so far out there that I skipped over it.

It was in the proposals but I don't know who or what breed submitted it, it wasn't us.

I tried. I can bring up posts and emails I still have saved that I complained. The one would not even take mine at first. Had to get Alan involved. Maybe the proposals are submitted at hunts on a ballot and given to each entrant and sent with the hunt packet results .
But this crap of not getting to have a say in changes is wrong. Everyone that wants their vote to count should have the ability to be heard.
And polls/ Votes on this forum only represent a small portion of hunters.
I know guys hunting in Nite hunts that still do not have internet.

I’m not really sure how any breed members voted but to be fair it should have been brought to everyone of us that hunt the hunts but regardless I like the rule changes and I hunt booticks lol 😂

I kinda liked ukc being different from the others.
Ive always been told the best dogs hunt in those other registries and ukc was for the beginners and oldtimers. however I saw a lot of those big winners in those registries show up for the major ukc hunts and rarely got their picture took.maybe with the rule changes that will change also.

Does anyone know? Or did it evolve at the meeting? Is there a list of the breed reps and how they voted? Only seen one guy on here say he was there and that he was only filling in???

You have just given an old has been coon hunter a little hope, I need to look into this drone thing. It would be nice to listen to the dogs run and tree, fly a drone over the tree, use thermal imaging to locate the coon, and tone collar to call the dogs back in, all while sitting in the comfort of my truck, eating snacks and never getting tired. Coon hides aren't worth anything and just getting out listening to the dogs would be reward enough. The drone would just provide proof the dogs done a good job, no need for me getting tired climbing these mountains. Lol. Dave
