Am a walker man . But am rooting for the under dog, big country. He stands a good of chance as any dog is this

Shack,Big Country, Banjo II and Wild Bill would make a good final four

Hunt

Judging from Friday's hunts, Big Country and Shack put on a show, both won going away! I hope both dogs make the final 4, but I am pulling for Shack to win it all. Dave

I doubt that Big Country is anyone's underdog. It sounds like he is the favorite.

Oh my goodness, Big Country got beat by a Redbone last night. Is that a hint of what is to come in the Finals? And Jason Cooper's Secret female is going to the Finals. This is her 2nd trip and she has a Pro Handler this year. Don't count her out. She is a big winner in BSKC hunts.

There's a dark horse in the mix that everyone will overlook. There's a plott dog named Logan that seems to win more than his share with some impressive scores. Good luck to all.

Here is what a cast member said about Banjo II:

Alex Miles He looked good last night. That dog has a motor on him and will not be with another dog. Terry Perkins is a stand up guy. Honest and plays by the rules. He was the judge on our cast and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. I like this Banjo dog. The first cut and tree I believe he was sitting at about 900 treed in about 10 min. On the second cut he went 1.3 miles and NEVER was with another dog. I asked Terry if it was natural or man made. He said he has always been naturally independent. Banjo is a people pleaser (you could tell by how he reacted at the tree) and I like that. Dogs like that make a dog trainer look like a million bucks. If he is passing those traits to his pups then you will definitely hear more out this dog. Congratulations Terry on your cast win and making it to the world. Bryan he told me to tell you hello

picks

Just a few words of wisdom, "if a dog goes that far every turn loose, a good coondog should tree 2 coon behind him in this country". Just my thought on him getting that deep every drop!!! All that does is make ya tired or need a new pair of boots sooner. Hard to keep up, when a dog is scoring on 2 coon, while your scoring on 1. JMO. Take care, Ron.

Second place dog from Ashland zone. Belle

There are many great dogs and handlers trying for that top spot. I`d sure like to see Henry Blessing and Rage win it all! A great guy and a top blue female. Good luck Henry!

Just remember where he was hunting,it was Alabama not Iowa,it was extremely dry, their will be more racoon in Iowa and he won't have to go that deep everytime,he don't pass'em up in thick coons. And he will be there early in the week to practice up,but thanks for the advice......I just hope he don't catch too many on the ground. lol

Mike

Ya, down there, you might need to do that to win. Was just mentioning that around here, it usually isn't necessary to go that far each drop.

In fact, if those folks/dog wants to stretch his legs in Iowa, stop in on Wed. night. I live 50 miles N of Quad Cities & 2 hrs. E of Marshalltown, Would be glad to take a hunt in big, safe hunting ground & have 2 spare beds & new kennel to use. Take care, Ron.
