A real big shout out and CONGRATS to the entire MAFIA Clan , Outstanding People all the way around and great hounds and no doubt about it well deserved and EARNED! Rome was not built in a day. Nor was it bought. Cheyenne and his bunch are building something for sure. These folks are a true asset to our sport.

It did me good to see Shack take 50 strike points twice and come out on top. An honest handler with an honest dog taking honest strikes and having coons is mighty nice to see in this day and time. Now if we can get the NO leash lock rule passed maybe we can change ole deep and lonely back to coondog status.

Training dogs is not so much about quantity, it's more about timing, and the right situations...After that it's up to the dog....A hunting dog is born...

To all involved in this big win. I know it takes a top hound trained the right way & a lot of hard work to have them ready for this type of win. Dalton, mom & dad was sure happy when you kept Shack on leash to finish hunt & take no chances on something going wrong at end of hunt. Will see you this winter with a couple blue dogs in tow. I was happy he kept Shack in the lead those last 13 minutes. Dalton is sharp as a tack and knew he had the hunt won. The other dogs could not catch him even if they had a coon and no minus. Dave
