-- Definition of Split Tree (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928518683)
The only time this causes problems is when the judge doesn't rule on it until after scoring starts. Decide whether it's one or split then start shining. Had trees called split then the judge changed his mind because my tree had a coon and his didn't.

Either Tarbaby can't read or he has a very poor memory. One tree over has been posted on the interweb numerous times. My memory has gotten awful but even I know that.

.....I realize that UKC has left a lot of "interpretation" in the rules to give handlers the leeway to use "honor" and common sense. Now this is great theoretically and sounds good on paper but in the real world of comp hunting it causes a lot of problems.![]()

Oh my goodness, that is probably it. We Redbone guys always stick together. Reasoning like this maybe why you stay in trouble.

trees don't legitimately nearly as much as guys try to pretend
there is a thing called crown shyness where trees naturally keep themselves from touching.
