-- Boots! (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928517183)

I must say that my chaps wear out before my Lacroose Grange boots fail. The chaps still work to shield against briars and such but they leak through the inner layer of fabric.

I’m not sure what model they were but I assure you that I had 2 pair of lacrosse boots that the soles came off. Think they may have been the alpha Burleys. The ones I had years ago lasted good and were well worth the money.

I had two pair of the alpha burleys and the soles came off of both. That's when I went to the grange. I prefer the burleys because they give more traction and the heel is wider which helps keep me from sinking in the mud. Too bad they won't fix the sole separation problem.

These are probably the new 4x alpha burly..The old burly was a one piece type..I dont sale a ton of lacrosse now but their are some customers that absolutely love them...The 18 inch height effected a few guys getting them on and off.You can still get you a lacrosse burly one piece if you dont mind ankle fitting.

Just asking a question. What is the advantage of a rubber boot chap sewn together unless you are in deep water? I hunt in central ky and have great luck with danner boots and nylon chaps. We rarely get over a 10 inch boot and the dancers are light and comfortable.

Absolutely nothing unless you get in water over ten inches..If you know every inch of ground you hunt in they are probably as comfortable as any..Most are not that lucky unless its the mtns

I like the quatro , have a insulated pair an a non insulated. Good boots. Had both pair almost a year. The non insulated tend to want to roll on your feet until there broke in . The old lacrosse grange were the best boot ever.

BOOT DRYERS

Boot dryers will definitely prolong the life of any boots that you decide to buy.

Over 5 years ago when a certain person shafted people on a light and boot deal. I bought a pair of bekina boots. They were fairly new on the market at the time. After months of no boots and light Michael and johnny Dalton contacted me and made the deal right. That is why I stick with them but back to the boots johnny Dalton has reshaped them 2 times and after the last set of chaps wore out I cut them off and wear them for knee boots. Thousands apon thousands of miles later there are no cracks and no leaks. Still wear them here in the hills when I'm not around water. Newer style came out bought two pair from johnny the first year setwa was at union sc. Only worn one pair for two years and no leaks or cracks. Beat boot around for durablilty and the only boot comfortable on my flat wide feet with bama socks.
