-- Price You would pay for a started pup/dog (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928516536)
Pup
Bout one that’s 15 months old treed over 60 coon alone since 10 months old
80-90 ACC
Silent on track
Hunts deep
It looks like 30% of coonhunters think that a guy should pay $300 - $500 for a weaned pup, spend another $2,000 raising and starting the pup and then sell it for $500. What is wrong with this picture?

Alot of bs being written here, I cant hardly give a good dog away, Local folks so jealous some wouldnt take a good dog if I offered it to them.80 percent of calls I get dont amount to anything ...I Sold a NICE STARTED GYP SAT and the gentleman didnt try to hassel me any about the price.....MOST FOLKS WANT A DOG TO TREE A COON ALONE AND DONT WANT TO PAY OVER 400.00 TO 800.00....Little gyp I just sold was better than half the competetion dogs I have drew the last couple hunts....In my opinion.... IF I DID A BUY BACK ON A NICE 18 month old PUP FROM MY STOCK THAT I PERSONALLY HUNTED AND WOULD HUNT ALONE AND STAY TREED WITH ABOVE AVERAGE MOUTH and 50 PERCENT OR BETTER I COULD SEE 1500.00 or higher...jmo.
