-- Strike points (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928516262)

The original question was irrelevant due to the fact the whole situation was handled wrong to start with. Therefore there is not a right answer to that question.
Would someone please post where it says I can drive to a tree?
It says I can call timeout when all dogs are declared treed...
Respectfully

Why call time out? You know where the dogs are. You know that they are treed.
What rule/excuse would be used to call time out?

The only problem is how to get to them. Allen/UKC has said that if all dogs are treed that you can drive around to get to them. The cast agreed to split the tree points, so effectively they "treed" their dogs. So, they could drive around to get to them. The original question was, what do you do with the strike points? It wasn't, could we drive to them? Or could we call time out?

go re read Richard. Joey said all dogs left out of hearing. Drove around to find them! Not that they knew where they were or if treed.

probably not but I know you wouldn’t use it to make a call.

When you are as old as I am, you have to use all of the tools at your disposal. I use my ears, my eyes, my knowledge of my dog and my Garmin to call my dog. I can watch my Garmin and tell when my dog is about to open for the first time. I can watch my Birdseye and listen to my dog and tell what kind of territory my dog is in. I can watch my Garmin and tell whether my dog has gone out of hearing or shut up. I can watch my Garmin and tell if a dog barking way off in the distance is mine or a house dog. I can watch my Garmin and tell if my dog is staionary or moving when it is way deep.
