Not picking on you in anyway but when you guys are wondering why there are no vendors at the hunts remember when y'all bought all these lights. Completely made and assembled in China and taking business strait from family owned and operated business's ran by American coon hunters. Its your money and your business what you do with it but sense those lights have hit amazon its hurt everyone's Business pretty bad. There are a few companies that get those lights directly and mark them up for profit, but those guys will also warranty them. Try that with your chinaman. There are more of us that design and build or own lights. We all get some parts from over there its just how it is but we design them, we build them and we hunt with you all. Superior, Bright eyes, Boss lights, Dakota, Big Dog and many more are all fellow coon hunters trying to make a living. Remember getting these when everyone is wondering what happened to our hunts and our country. Again everyone is entitled to do what they want but next time you like that American flag on facebook talk to your buddy about how we are loosing our jobs oversees that this is part of the problem.

By the way these are not Kohree lights. That was just a name that the Chinese figured out was recognized here and used it. The 80k lux light they are advertising is 30k lux. They lie to you at every turn but keep taking our money.

Mike I got one of those lights and I bought it because it was cheap because I got a bad neck and I never had a cap light and wanted to see if I could wear one or not. My buddy Ralph has one of your lights and there is no comparison my light the red ain't bright enough. And his is. My light if you are a good distance from the tree the coons will look at it up close they will not. Usually they will only look at the red light. I got that cheap light and a belt light with a wheat head and a LED head good light but I never use it. I will get one of your lights some day but it's hard being raised poor to throw somthing away that still works.

I'm not supporting no one that marks up a lite 200%+ .. American,Chinaman,Canadian. etc that's ridiculous.
If a vendor wants to sell these lites in question ...don't false advertisement them
Hail I ain't buying no freaking klite .
I'm buying a kohree lite .

Tar, MAGA! When you get around to buying a light off Mike you won't regret it. I have the rage and wouldn't trade it for a dozen chinamen lights

Mike, I have the Inferno (I think) and just don't want anything else. Just the best light I've ever had.

In addition to what Mike said, when you have a benefit hunt for your buddy who fell out of a tree, or you dad who just died of cancer, do you call Kohree for donations? We donate to virtually every request we get, and I know several others who do, because I see lots of honorable mentions - but never Kohree.

I just wanted to re-state something, I believe in buying AMERICAN, that's what I thought that I had done, just not the case and I don't see paying the mark up. With that said, best lights I've ever owned were built by Mr Sam Davis and Allen Roberts.

Also I'm all for buying AMERICAN, I thought that's what I was doing when I called Mike and ordered directly from him, however that's not what was actually going on, I was ordering a made in China light with a made in America false sticker. I'm not downing anyone or calling anyone's stuff junk simply stating a fact. K-LIGHTS ARE ACTUALLY KOHREE LIGHTS!

Lights

Not everyone can afford to buy the best lights on the market, nothing wrong with someone buying what they can afford. I can , but still buy what I like and what gets the job done. No need for anyone to try and shame those buying China made lights, as some have mentioned we have light makers doing the same thing and profiting by doing so. I find it hypocritical for some of these folks comments regarding these lights when they own plenty of non American made products. Dave

.

My opinion is to own what fits your pocketbook and personality. Back in the early 90’s with my wheat light there were several coon pointed out to me, that my wheat light just couldnt find. Dont get me wrong. My wheat light was the cream of the crop for many years. If I wasnt comp hunting at the time I would of stuck with it. After seeing coon in trees pointed out to me by the guys with the bright lights. I knew right then if I was going to spend time and money going to hunts. I owed it to myself and my dog to have a light I was comfortable with.

Greed has been the undoing of many a poor soul. Ignorance is bliss that is until someone educates them, then they aren't so easily fooled by that fake made in the USA sticker. The truth is a bitter pill for some to swallow. Heck it's the same way in fishing lures, big name lures made in China with the big name label costing 5 to 6 times the amount of the same lure ordered directly from China. The internet and worldwide marketing opens the door for the consumer, no longer should anyone get ripped off solely on Name purchases. Free enterprise exists, buy where you get the best deal, but remember that when it comes to some things Customer Service is just as important as the price. High ticket items should be purchased with warranties and customer service in mind, as cheaper is Not always cheaper in the long run. Dave

Dave China is any USA company's worst nightmare, if you have designed a product and have it made there and then shipped to your USA company that spent all the advertising research and development money on the product and then paid a Chinese company to make it , Guess what just like Yeti found out they will make more of them and sell them undercutting you , This has and is happening to several companies and the Chinese are smart you cant sue them and win , you cant even find a owner of a Chinese company to hold accountable.

Are you not the one that has been promoting these lights on this board for quiet some time now! I thought you really liked these light, especially the price. Why are you showing such a change of heart now? NO WAY these lights are better than some of the lights being made by Sam and others, but what they are is a Decent light that is affordable for anyone needing a light. Why I like them is a matter of weight and size, along with dependability. I have better USA made lights, but they are much heavier and harder to carry in these mountains. I have used them for almost 4 years without any problems. Are they the best lights in the market? NO, heck no, but a real good light for the money. Dave

I hear you loud and clear, but greedy American Companies that sold out their work force and moved their manufacturing operations to China for the cheap labor, have no one to blame but themselves. I WILL NOT pay 8.00 for a lure made in China when I can buy the same lure from China for 1.50. What's wrong with this picture? Greed and the 500 to 600 percent markup is the difference, they are used to ripping the public off, they could sell theirs for much less and not cry about competition. Competition is what built this country, it's the heart of our economy. Don't get in bed with the enemy and complain when you get a dose of your own medicine. Yeti coolers are way overpriced and even then they wanted the cheap Chinese labor. Make it in America with American parts and labor and price it reasonable and I will never buy anything else. I own a bunch of Henry made firearms All American made parts and labor. I am as proud of America as one can be, I wish everything I need could be all American made parts and labor, but our American Companies obviously don't feel that way. Dave

Question for all of you that have one of these lights,. Which one is preferred? Brother in law thinking he wants to get into coon hunting with me, hate to see him spend $300 right off the gate for a head light.
