-- Weeknight Hunts???? (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928512979)
Mr. Lambert
Your comment is bumming me out, making me miss the old days that I never even witnessed lol
I worked rotating twelve hour shifts for fourteen years, I hunted a lot and attended a hunt whenever I could. Personally, I wouldn't jump the dog in the box for a one hour hunt.

1 hour week night hunts are the best thing since fat girls, btw I love them fat girls. Sign me up, get on with it UKC.
i personally could care less if it's the biggest club in the world or a tailgate, and you say it's all about the money, but a week night hunt verses a weekend would pay exactly the same (Nothing). I just think it would be a way for UKC to have some guys attend like myself who otherwise either wouldn't or couldn't attend.

Anything to get more hunts, we need more hunts.
Oh my goodness, one group says we need more hunts and another group says that we need fewer hunts with more people at them. Which group is right?
Richard is it a case of who is right and wrong? I really would like the weekday hunt thing myself. It won't hurt anything, and 1 hour hunts are tailor made for just that. I don't think the 1 hour thing is going to float real well on weekends, but that's yet to be seen. AS FOR HELPING/
HURTING? Neither will help or harm the other down here in South Georgia. Folks here are smart enough to make up their own minds about when and where they want to hunt and do so accordingly. Unfortunately for the comp hunters, that's normally a pleasure hunt. We will see what the future brings. JMO

Food for thought
So as most of you all know I don't hunt ukc hunts for personal preference. But I can say I've spectated on casts in ukc. I don't care for a bunch of the attitudes from the older generation. I'm never going to see eye to eye with their thought process on dogs, clubs, or training process. Maybe some of the older guys on here need to take a step back and think what could or would their "club" benefit from? Would it benefit from week night hunts?
Why would you care if the "club" is a folding table or tailgate or gas station or a designated building? You can tell everyone on here you'd go back to the club after a hunt. But my $ is on you doing what 95% of what others do. And that's heading out after the hunt is over.
