Jesse I hope it isn't like that. It seems there are so many depressing things in this world that everything seems negative. I made a weak attempt to lighten the mood which backfired and appeared in bad taste. However I gave my condolences to Tar over the phone and anyone that doesn't feel for the Goodbar child is cold and hard. However since this is a dog site there are many that can relate to having a dog ran over, hopefully more than can relate to losing a child. Best wishes to all.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. You would think a post about a 12 year old girl getting killed would draw more attention than it has on this board!!!

Hobo just speaking for me not anybody else. Sometimes things hit you so hard like this you just don't know what to say my heart aches for her family. I for one clam up and get quiet in times of tragedy. Jessie was right and he has the right to tell me when I need reminding that that family needed my condolences and prayers.

If many are like me they saw a benefit hunt listed by you who lives far away. It wasn't until l later clicked on the thread that I realized that a little girl was tragically killed in an accident. I did share the link for your post to the pkc board where again the title of the thread that was started doesn't let those scrolling the headlines have any idea that a horrific event had happened to this family.

Again Tar I'm glad you have a pup out of Fred to carry on his legacy for you I know how much you liked him. For most of us our dogs come in just under God and family and rightfully so.

This thread has over 1000 views...... The one for Jennarae has less than 700. That says a lot about people in my opinion.

I would think someone would open a thread about a benefit event no matter if it was close to where they live or far away just to see what it was for and if they could help out in some small way.

Jesse and Hobo, that girl's death was a real tragedy. But everyone "views" her thread once or twice. A very few people "view" Tarbaby's thread a couple of times a day. The # of "views" is no indication of how many people actually "view" it.
