Sod buster is doing great. Nicest handling hound I’ve had.
I tone trained him easily as I have to be able to rein him in. Some places here a dog can get in danger quickly. I don’t believe he’d been soloed much when I got him. He’s been treeing coon alone and has not had a slick. He won’t tree unless he’s confident. Loves to go. Been taking a break for a few weeks it’s been hot here. Took him to New York State and hunted him with a friends TWs in June. He got his and then some. So far I’m very pleased with him and can’t wait for kill season.

What’s your hounds dam side look like? I’m out in the east side of the state. I hunt pretty much all state land. Thick coons where I hunt. Never wait to long for a strike. I could show you a few places aswell, state land off rt9 was loaded with coons. Guess them comp boys don’t like pullin triggers

Looking for stud in New England.

Well I guess it’s not easy finding a good male here in the northeast. I’ve seen a few, hunted with a few. I don’t believe I’m setting the bar to high. Just want a good dog who hunts for himself. I didn’t want to do the ai route but I’m open to the idea.
